inanaco,

I have been sent a copy of your 4734 and 4735 posts, both of which are totally incorrect.

I am not trading Scancell. I have clearly explained my reasons for reducing my holdings and whilst it may suit you and a small group of others to believe/portray this as an attempt to buy back for a quick 20%, it is absolutely not the case. You should know that in my entire posting history, I have only ever posted as I see it and never to suit a trade - that's simply not how I invest in bios. I have also never advised anyone to buy or sell whilst doing the opposite myself. Rather than trying to discredit other long term holders to blindly defend Scancell, you might do better to accept that they simply have a different view and investment strategy.

I still believe that Scancell has great potential and will watch from a distance. I will continue to post any info./research/links that may be helpful or relevant but other than that I will leave a much reduced holding in the bottom drawer and wait and see. If there is any news or a corporate event that shifts the risk/reward ratio back then I will happily pay more to buy back the stock I have sold but right now things are tough out there and there is a way to go.

OMG...you couldn't make the LSE bb up if you tried.
They are only trying to spin the 'hindsight story' the other way around now ! The stock price fell because the boss didn't sell. Lol
The guy called empty end is truly the most ignorant person on markets that I've ever come across. He simply must have spent time in a boardroom somewhere. That's where the truly stock market unaware tend to hang out.
There's also someone criticising someones grammar who can't even spell the word.
You couldn't make that bb up !!
Anyway...I'm stopping reading it now ...it's pitiful.

Thanks plasybryn, you are a gent and unlike the clappy crew open to new ideas and not dogmatic about sticking to what 'doesn't work.'
Yes I will be back to describe the upwards movement of the 3rd wave once it gets underway.
This won't be a continuous rise but will of course be punctuated by other large drops, that will once again catch the bulls out. That's because the 3rd wave also has a defined structure. The only way to anticipate them accurately is by Elliott wave.
Of course today again shows the clappy crew were again totally WRONG about their 'reason' for yesterday's share price drop. No surprise. Just hindsight story telling in their naivety, as I said.
Some like moon party do seem to be learning from mistakes. Most like Inan, marking time, chill and Wigwam are pretty much lost causes in the markets and will be constantly battered by the waves....without ever understanding 'why'.

More likely she's got no money - her mortgage has probably gone up! - and so to exercise them she'd have to immediately sell some (perhaps quite a lot) to meet the cost and tax bill. Which would send out the wrong message...

"And the share price rises ..."
Bit early in the day to CLAIM that
Even IF any reasoned, intelligent person could think circa 11p represents the share price rises ...
Bearing in mind that just 3 days ago the S P sat at mid 13p

Not the announcement, dipstick, the actual substance! Why extend the options, unless there was a need to because the CEO was still unable to legally exercise her options because she was still deemed in possession of inside info after Monday?

If you extend option expiry then it is definitely something that should be disclosed.

I have been aware of the options expiry for the last few months knowing it could weigh on the share price.

YET AGAIN, *WE ALL* CAN see - despite frequently 'pretending' to having no 'CONnection' or 'Clubby affiliation'...There does, repeatedly, appear evidence of 'personal closeness' betwixt 'Parteners in crime' = TF (Talking Eetup) and der LOSS BOSS
A bit obviously similar to Rees-Mogg ('n' co )blindly 'supporting' Bad Boy Boris

On one level you are right. But there has only been an "opportunity cost" not a cash loss.If you are a trader of the shares, then it is effectively a real loss, as you should be marking to market daily. But if you are a buy and hold investor with no intention whatsoever of selling for at least another year (like me, Redmile, Vulpes etc) then it makes very little difference what the share price does in the meantime, save for being mentally a bit happier if the price is rising.

It takes 3 minutes to look at the annual accounts and figure out Dr. RM Goodfellow had 2.88m options @4.5p that expire on 30th July.

Hi Ruck - re. the first para - it depends how you look at it. However your superiority is noted as ever. I felt your response was simply, smug.

If you had seen the obvious polarity in posts between Inan and myself on 'economics' you certainly wouldn't accuse me of 'following' his.

Modi-1 does look very valuable and viable as a treatment and there have only been 3 enrolled at the high dose plus check point cohort four.

Looking forward to data at the end on September.

Scancell would not be pushing ahead with it and Scib/iScib+ if they were not confident. Otherwise focus and money would be concentrated on the very exciting Bispecific SC134, SC2811 and the other Glymabs plus Avidimab.

Dr David Pinato, Principal Investigator at Imperial College, commented: "Advanced ovarian cancer is an aggressive cancer which is hard to treat. A disease control rate of 44% with Modi-1 in patients who have exhausted most treatment options is very encouraging".
