BBC reported a Telegraph article with comments from a Government Minister

Mr Zahawi also told the Telegraph that the government was hoping to have up to eight vaccines available by the autumn - with several made in the UK - including one that could guard against three different variants via a single jab.'
It will be interesting to see if SCLP is involved.
Should we read anything into the late reported large buys yesterday?

Hi Inanaco.
My main point which I am sure you recognise is that SCLP under any circumstance is extremely unlikely to be jab ready by September for mass Vaccination.
I can think on grounds of completing phase 1,2 and 3 plus submitting rolling data abd getting MHRA Approval in 5 months and that is assuming we get a Monday RNS saying p1 to start immediately.
Plus any manu scale up would need to be done which again with current capacity issues and problem with getting trial volunteers and HC facilities booked up for next few months etc.
I mentioned the current prime and boost protocol so do you really believe that a boost only protocol would be ready by September.
Inanaco please answer is there any realistic way that SCLP could have their Covid Vax ready for mass jabbing in September

as non of the approved current vaccines are looking at the N protein specifically, then Scancells approach single or prime/boost is still appropriate

you must not get confused with Boosting an existing vaccine that may be weak to a variant

or boosting the immune system to broaden the response

don't get to hung up on protocols ...

Do you take great delight in more children being in hospital due to mental health than for any other reason. Do you take great delight every week when you look at the safety data on the MHRA website.

Wigwammer & Bermuda, I will leave you to it, good luck with your vaccine when you pick up any old virus or bacteria come this winter . Why don't you go on the very trusted Government MHRA website and look at the deaths and adverse reactions or are they lying as well.

Panama, please respect the point that I have taken the time on two occasions to follow your links. The first one a few weeks ago was a video that was so childish and amateur it was embarrassing. The one yesterday was from another source - 12bytes - where it is difficult to ascertain the provenance of the site, the background of the writers, or anything that may add confidence to its quality as a source. I cannot find the part in the link that materially backs up your claim that Gates has got richer on the back of investing in vaccines. Where is it? The high profile story from earlier this year about the $200bn return has been objectively proven to be a misrepresentation by the very think tank that made the estimate. The point that it has been jumped on by sceptics as evidence against Gates proves little more than how low these sceptics will swoop. Vaccination continues at pace - so either the anti vaxxers aren't telling the story well, or the public have listened, deliberated, and dropped your story in the toilet. I suspect both. ATB

I'm going to try hard not to respond. When your posts are proven to be lies you simply change the subject or refuse to accept facts put before you. The vast majority of your posts link to people who have a vested interest in driving traffic to their sites/blogs/videos - either making money or in Boosche's case developing his own vaccine which of course is the one that will save the World and doesn't have any of the issues that all of the others have.

Your feeding them and in answering you, so am I. I'll leave you to your closed mind conspiracy theories while we watch the existing and hopefully future vaccines save literally millions of lives.

Inane, for one I am not taking down posts, secondly why are you posting on the Science . Isn't it about time you had your second jab so you can take off the mask and get out from behind the couch, surely a year is enough, what about your mental and physical health. Make sure if you do venture out that you act as if you have got the virus and avoid the public, keep your distance.

Bermuda, dear oh dear Jonathan Jarry is that the best you can do . I see he has also dismissed Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine as a treatment. Is He a doctor dealing with Patients no of course not as Doctors across the World actually dealing with Patients on a daily basis have saved thousands of lives using those very treatments.
Very good though to find an article written on behalf of big Pharma to dismiss Bossche. Why don't Big Pharma debate Bossche , where is the open letter from the WHO in respone to Bossche's assertions. Why is there absolutely no debate allowed about the Vaccines. Why have 800,000 posts been taken down in the last year with no debate allowed about the content of the posts. why are Fact checkers that have no medical or scientific experience taking down posts from Doctors and Scientists with decades of skin in the game.
