23/7/2009 11:09 | Looks good. The London market has certainly picked up and I think this is finally being reflected in a breakout over £3. Still think Q4 will be the telling quarter though.... Jock | jockthescot
23/7/2009 10:50 | Breaking out - can usually get 20% on a breakout here so don't blink :-) CR | cockneyrebel
23/7/2009 08:55 | COL saying June was strong - reckon these are setting up for a major breakout here. CR | cockneyrebel

20/4/2009 05:33 | Beware, I am lurking. This is usually a sell signal. | kbass
14/4/2009 20:07 | Same here in London TWH. A sustained positive period although we have to ask whether it will last or is just a blip on the way down! My view is that SVS will profit far more than most, and will be a good pre-cursor to the bottom of the market. Is that now? anybody's guess! Jock | jockthescot
14/4/2009 19:12 | market picking up big time where i am on the south coast..see a big seler exited last week which caused the spike down...close above £3 then clear water to ???? TWH | the white house
05/4/2009 18:43 | I was surprised at recent increase in share price but must I believe be relate to small increase in house price rise announced. Nevertheless there will have to be some serious cost cutting as increase of income flow is going to be slow. SVS have always been good at this unlike some of the other estate agents but I think we have seen nothing yet in terms of cost cutting. If there is not a pickup in house sale volume then we will see more offices close in my opinion. | blondviking
03/4/2009 16:51 | Ehh Phillis? | jockthescot
11/3/2009 10:24 | "Estate agent Savills halved its full year dividend after revenues and profits fell sharply in line with continued difficulties in the property sector. Underlying pre-tax profits in 2008 tumbled to £33.2m from £85.5m in 2007, on revenues that fell to £568.5m from £650.5m. The firm moved into losses of £7.7m when exceptional items such as impairment charges are included." | dasv
11/3/2009 10:10 | and I think this will go up in 2 weeks time. lets just see! there are not many shares in free float and big institution were buying recently and they were well aware of the company's situation. | kamukak
11/3/2009 09:58 | The market doesn't like the cut in divi and I suppose there is nothing in the results to suggest that 2009 is going to be a whole lot better. SVS is a good investment, long term, I agree, but I guess this will continue to drift. | jockthescot
11/3/2009 09:07 | Long term this is a good investment, but depends when you buy. I do hold a few but will not be buying any quantity until price is in the £1.5 - £1.8 range. | blondviking |
