I don't think it's a company presentation and I am pretty sure that they would like to see things progress as well.

IB, I do remember the external research mentioned and indeed the Dutch girls!

How the world has changed from those halcyon days. Let's see what happens in the coming days!

So we should be looking at the Portuguese announcements tomorrow and onwards.

What a mess we're all in!

Hi Ged,There was mention in one of the papers that there was to be some sort of presentation on the 18th. This then seemed to expand into the University research that was being done into the game economic impact of the MdB development to the local and national economy. If you remember, this external research was mentioned pre Christmas.Hope this then acts as the starting gun with confirmation of the EIA and discussions with the Locals and Municipality. The Benchmark EVent in 10 or so days is going to be interesting and could help to warm things up as people decide where to invest.

IB, Hope you are keeping well.

In 2752 you put "In other Portuguese press, it looks like there is to be on line presentations on May 18th."

What is the on-line presentation about, please?

Maybe SAV will announce in the morning about the EIA.

cnbc yesterday ,industry is forcasting a 40% increase in Lithium demand by 2022 in particular ev and storage products .

At risk of a dose of Covid lockdown irrational optimism, there is certainly markedly greater interest and comment in the lithium, EV, storage, eu supply chain space. SAVs imminent (May 18) engagement is timely with the Benchmark online EVent the following week which I am sure will be well supported. If people are minded to look at various opportunities then it will be interesting to see if there is any follow through.

In other Portuguese press, it looks like there is to be on line presentations on May 18th. Does that mean the EIA will be out by then, who knows, but the long awaited community discussions would seem to be getting closer.

Cars and especially electric vehicles are looking to a bright future as public transport is going to reduce by numbers of around 60% for the next 3 years because of Covid restrictions , not just in uk , but all of euro nations .
So David you really need to get things moving here otherwise you will miss the boat .

Lets have some news !

Thanks IB for alerting us about the latest newsletter. I'm still of the opinion it'll be 3rd -4th quarter before EIA is dealt with.

Archer has used "hope" and "shortly" in the same sentence!

Having said that, at least there's been some communication for which we can be thankful.

I was just checking on how Portugal was getting on and was amused by this statement in an article (which I found interesting) from a couple of weeks ago.

"Explanations for Portugal’s relative success have ranged from cleaner air to decades of anti-tuberculosis vaccinations and intervention from Our Lady of Fatima."

Perhaps we should be all saying our 'Hail Marys'

Good to see that SAV have brought their Community engagement up to date after almost three months. With Portugal about to re-start, perhaps the long awaited EIA is about to be dropped into the APAs in box and this part of the process can get underway.http://www.savannahresources.com/cms/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/April-Newsletter_EN.pdf

Thanks GED. I've only been invested in SAV for a year so I still have some optimism.
I think a lot of the delay has been ensuring the EIA is good enough to convince the Goverment and locals. We know we have the resource and if the EIA passes everything will start to move quickly including finance.
I'd be interested to hear other investors opinions.
