Just so Ed doesn't offend any Portuguese it could also be classed as Europe's front door too. :)

Truth,

The greens want lithium, they just hate that it needs to be dug out of the ground. Just don't tell them where the electricity comes from (natural gas). Looks like you've come in at a good time. Lith prices have came down since the SS days for sure but the DFS should be rock solid. And you're not going to get the same quality shallow lith deposit right on Europe's back door anywhere else! The ad/video is a good promotional tool. Get that and the upcoming DFS to do the rounds in Europe (I'm sure DA has started this process months ago). DA just has to prove that its the key asset in the EV chain that he says it is and get the job done. Us holders would just like the equity element of any potential prevailing funding package a little higher perhaps. :)

Regards,
Ed.

I'm not accusing anyone of telling lies. SAV only does the usual polishing of numbers in PR outlets. But the horse of 16 a of Mine Life is dead. It was and still is 11. You may confirm it in the Executive Summary of an economic impact study, SAV contracted and elaborated with a local faculty.

Hi Ged5. Only around 6 months - so I have not seen the rollocoaster the rest of you have. I was looking for a lithium play and came across this one. I bought my shares. Then by chance ended up at a dinner with some of the more environmentally minded, well connected people from Porto! My argument for them was that I'm not great on mining generally, but we do need lithium!

Ged,

ADVFN is littered with whingers and snowflakes. But just do what you do and ignore them. SAV still has quality assets, sure MdB is getting there slowly but surely, but its down to DA to promote this and get us some European grant money or one of the large car manufacturers to support the building of battery manufacture in Portugal. Its all on his shoulders now. According to DA we're a vital part of the lithium battery value chain, well if so and if the European commission et al are all green these days lets see them prove it with some cash, ECB backed etc. W resources I think it was managed to get European grant money for their tungsten asset. So lets see what DA can achieve on this vital battery metal asset. Because if he lands some grant or offtake money just after the DFS then full project funding could be done higher than at 2p per share. But this is all down to DA. News flow here has been much more sporadic since the conclusion of the exploration and reserve/infill drilling, as you would expect from a small miner, so I may also be posting sporadically too. But we should now be close to that DFS. I've a large lump of these in my bottom drawer but it would be nice to see DA get a bit of momentum back in here before they need to fund MdB.

Regards,
Ed.

I've been here since the beginning when this company was called African Mining and Exploration so have seen plenty of ups and downs! Had a 6 bagger at one point. Didn't cash out. Hey ho.

Welcome Truthbetold.

New to ADVFN but how long have you been in SAV?

I expect there will be many ups and downs in this saga. As someone from Porto said to me recently "No one would care if this mine was down South, but the money is in the North and they will object". Anyway, I'm staying around through the ups and downs. In the end, Europe needs good lithium supplies - and Portugal needs all the help it can get financially with the tourist industry in dire straits.

Just watched the video, very professional. No doubt it can create lots of direct jobs also support the local economy as more people come into the area. Two year development.

“This landmark refinancing of our long-term debt facilities is an outstanding achievement for Pilbara Minerals, representing the first time that a lithium raw materials player of our size has attracted conventional, syndicated project financing at such a competitive cost,” said MD and CEO Ken Brinsden on Thursday."

Hi Ed,

Good to see you posting again. HG has also re-appeared. Great to have sensible posters here who give good quality posts.

I don't mind the counter arguments in fact I welcome them but some of the riff-raff who come on here with misleading statements or downright lies.. well time for the filter.

Alexandre,

Strategic opportunity to become the first significant lithium producer in Europe having acquired the Mina do Barroso prospect in northern Portugal;

Approved Mining Plan ('MP'), Environmental Impact Assessment ('EIA') and a 30-year mining concession/Mining Licence ('ML') means that with a defined JORC resource a development decision could be made by the end of 2018;

I know there have been delays but are you telling us that we've been consistently lied to?

The 16 years is now part of an official announcement.

Now you've admitted posting garbage either tell us the price you're hoping to buy in or better still clear off with your misinterpretations.

Ged,

Cheers fella, might soon be time to get these out of the bottom drawer. After all that rapid fire drilling at MdB its taken ages to get the DFS out. I hope that DA is working as hard on getting funding from Europe as he is on these snazzy ad campaigns. that's an ad/video today even Greta would be proud of.

Ed,

Currently, there is no mine. Full stop. What exists is a exploitation CONCESSION for "for another 16 years extendable for another 20 years." To turn that into an operational mine, EIA needs approval etc.

EIA is with the national authority APA and their institutional partners. And yes, you're right, it has not been published officially.

Well, your calculation, based on a faulty assumption. Promotional ads are usually a weak source for reliable information.

From your link:-

The time in which, through the employment of the available capital, the ore reserves--or such reasonable extension of the ore reserves as conservative geological analysis may justify--will be extracted.

So what's your point?

Evidence? "1.30 in the film" says so. Closure is defined in the EIA.

Including construction and closure in the Life of Mine is anything than standard procedure. Need more evidence? hxxps://www.mindat.org/glossary/life_of_mine

> 45% increase in life of mine.

Just marketing gibberish like the whole promotion clip made up of a few drone videos and stock imagery. The 'raise' of ML was achieved only by the card trick of including non productive construction and closure phases.
