Someone tell GR there's a good asset in the U.K. currently going very cheap :)Industry news .,., and from other reports it would appear that GR is possibly hostile to the takeover having close to a 20% holding there too. https://stockhead.com.au/resources/ground-breakers-azure-attracts-1-63bn-sqm-splurge-nabbing-holders-a-1430-gain/https://www.mining.com/rinehart-may-block-sqm-1bn-takeover-of-azure-minerals/

Anyone here in FRG? Fire ring strategic minerals. Only 5 mil market cap. Released an RNS today. Very early with significant upside potential. Potentially very big lithium deposit. I've taken a punt.

I hear you mate. BUT until the big money arrives here, the Co can prove up as much resources as of likes, it will still need the big money to get it out of the ground. Industry news such as what A was willing to pay per share and still then have so much more to invest. And a fight broke out over it at that. Red days are here for a reason, really blue days will only happen once a partner or buyer is announced. But as I said, I hear you.

Last reference from me re Liontown, promise. Something from article re lithium prices is of interest to all. Macquarie analysts last month gave some hope of a better market for the vital ingredient for battery production, saying China's lithium supply is expected to slip into deficit as the country's refiners cut production.China produces the bulk of the world's lithium. "[A] sharp supply cut into peak season could drive a price rebound", the analysts said in a note.https://www.smh.com.au/business/companies/liontown-s-lithium-rollercoaster-crashes-after-funding-scramble-20231020-p5edtx.html

Listened to the broadcast
What a problem for the farmer who stated ( what I am I going to do if I sell )
Could have a good time spending all the money of the sale. Also he could have a clause included that after the mine closes he gets the land back for nothing.
Nice situation to be in

Portugal's Barroso lithium mine project faces villagers' ire https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-67135047We know all of this and as the story says if an agreement can't be reached the Government could expropriate the land land. Obviously there is wish to try and seek agreement but expropriation could be used as last resort. For the Portuguese Government , EU and others the potential of this project is too big to allow local opinion to pursue its failure.

Hmm .... Now I wonder how many short position Institutions have take part in the placement. By my calculations shares to be issued roughly equates to the 200m reported to be short.SAV is not Liontown and I don't mean to be overly sceptical but a pi can never compete, just buy, hold and fingers crossed see movement here once partners have been chosen or an full on approach is made. Liontown placement. " comprising a fully underwritten institutional placement to raise an initial A$365-million,"

good read wanna brew.
Question is will the EU force Portugal to act on the enormous quantity of Lithium found, and will they insist that the mining licences are issued and permission is given to proceed, irrespective of the minority holding this job up. The EU have got to act on this quickly to get things going, not only to reduce the massive debt Portugal has a member country but to supply the organisation with European based Lithium.

This one para taken from that article show that whilst not related to SAV, currently, how other forces at play can have influences. With an estimated 200 M shares still out on short. Naturally, some real-money funds think $2.20 to $2.60 a share is too high a price for Liontown to kick off raising talks now that the immediate M&A control premium has evaporated.Questions were also being asked about how firm the commitments for $760 million in debt were, although Liontown has been working on the financing for a while.Lastly, there's also the question of how short sellers could influence the pricing. The initial version of the raise would see Liontown issue about 180 million shares if pricing lands on the bottom-end of the range. But it is understood to have north of 200 million shares shorted, as hedge funds traded around Rinehart's intensive shopping trips throughout September.
