I warned people many months ago. Having lived in Portugal now for nearly 8 years, I am not surprised at the lack of progress. Don't blame the company. The head of one of the big property owners' assocations said to me recently "how do you make a small fortune in Portugal - start with a large one" Too true. I am planning my exit. You just can't get anything done. It's a nightmare of corruption. The average wage is €1k per month - and the "peasants" live a subsistence life. It's all about who you know here.

It is amazing that we allegedly have 60 odd offers and that they can't give us an idea of what these offers include.

The decimation of the share price 50% in 4 months implies to me that the Nimby brigade are wining and have many more rabbits to pull out the hat. I think one of the main issues is the permitting of the new road that is going to need to be built.

Well...I'm now back to where I started price-wise...I thought about but please nobody top up or average down I'm really not trusting this company or ineffective Portugal who are missing an opportunity to boost their economy...Don't worry we can rely on China to be on the ball and corner the Li market...I suppose I'll have to boost the Portugal economy and visit Vilamoura looking longingly at the yatchts in the marina...I've topped at ATM instead...

Absolute nightmare. CEO (previous one) recently said he'd be working on lifting the share peice to reflect the value of the company. Then it halved in value.

Yes. No change here, but poorer at least on paper.Certainly was not expecting this, with 60 interested parties to sort through and choose and suitably cashed up.Thought we may have had some comment from the company though heaven knows what they could say.As for the current sp, well we've been here before and indeed much lower without the benefit of all the progress since those darker times. Chunks of 10m shares stand out against the backdrop of the general day to day buys and sells but we should not forget that it would represent a little over 0.5% of the company, being bought or sold. So there would be much to do to force any changes.Meanwhile I wonder how this is being viewed by any parties interested in the proposed auctions? Not sure that hanging is a very good word to use.

UKG same pattern as Liontown but will the outcome be the same that's the question. Very funny too Liontown being stalked by an Iron Ore Billionaire. Now where have I seen some similar rumour

This in the end is going to be fought over just like Liontown. There is too much at stake for Portugal, the whole of the EU and others. Never mind current weakness in lithium prices. Those that what to stay in do so snd those that don't just .. politely foxtrot Oscar. https://www.mining.com/web/gina-rinehart-expands-stake-in-lithium-bid-target-liontown/
