Vulcan energy has now gone from sub 50cent to over $6 in less than a year.

Really hope this has a decent run. Kicking myself for not buying any of them

The EIA was submitted in June and they guided 10 months so May or June.

Then DFS is h2.

Fingers crossed for a few other bits of news in between

Thank you, hadn't seen it. DFS in the second half of 2021 and April for the Galp deal.

It's funny how nearly 3 years ago these went from 5p to near 15p on the increase in reserves and resources. Now the company is seemingly another step closer to developing the project and we are at 5p. Albeit there are a load more shares in issue.

I'm holding tight and if they drop more i'll likely add.

Looking forward to the eventual environmental sign off, more news from Galp, the DFS, funding, hopefully some funding from EIT. The continued uptake of EV and hopefully higher lithium prices.

What else were we asking for at Christmas :)

Takeover definitely on the cards down the line . Oil companies looking to diversify as much as possible and this is on their doorstep. Would be a takeover at the project level rather than of the whole of SAV itself.

Yes I thought the valuation $6.4M for 10% a little low. I guess the argument is they also add value, so for arguments sake without Galp it is worth $50M with Galp it is worth $80M only fair both participate in the uplift.

Funny how they say $6.4M for the DFS. Seems to be never ending.

I did think 6.4m seems cheap.. but I dont think it was really about the amount of cash... more about political weight and offtake as you said.

At first I was very cynical about the language used in the RNS and thought Archer could use the potential for at least six/twelve/twenty four months of announcements before it's finally agreed.

Looking back to see when the off-take agreements were first being talked about I gave up looking because I came across the RNS about the LTIP which I'd forgotten about. Options for 10p. Not bad I thought. About double from here.

But an off-take is what we've been waiting for, so excellent news.

10% of Mina do Barroso being $6.4m gives a value of £47m to Portugal and £31m to Mozambique.

Two questions:-
Have they sold themselves short?
Isn't it about time Mutamba was developed?

Galp was mentioned earlier on the thread and most likely the reason for the recent rise.

Looks like plenty to look forward to.

any of your more experienced on SAV, had a view that GALP would come on board?

This seems like exactly what we need. A heavyweight, Portuguese company.

Cash injection nice.

but the value is in the political weight.

Just having them associated and given their credentials, you would think its about lining about a proposal which is easier for Porto local gov to sign off.

I was contemplating a top up yesterday but was thinking it will slip back a little further.

:)

Great news

Justtrying1, what are you trying to achieve? If you are shorting this company you are going to get burnt :)

Investment is at the subsidiary MdeB level, not the SAV level, which is also good. Means it isn't a direct 10% stake in SAV itself, so the Moz mineral sands project is not impacted by this.
