I don't think any of us saw this coming, Paleje. I was looking at the chart over the weekend and had this down as a potential buy. The Guardian article seems to have been the catalyst.

Highest volume yesterday for a couple of months.

Don't think he had much choice...sell shares or lose his hotel.

Is this rise for real, I hope so but it would suggest that David sold at a really rubbish price by comparison only a week or so ago. He didn't see this coming?

Hit 3.4p intraday yesterday , so 3.9p today will confirm new uptrend in place!!

UKGeorge, "they have a solution, but no technology to get the li out of it." Hmm, you mean no scaled-up technology? But DLE seems increasingly to be a "thing" these days and PFS is due fairly shortly.

It lost 50% of its rise this pm , so certainly day traders came and went , lets see what happens tomorrow and whether DA comes up with anything substantial.

I dont think this is a P & D. there was interest from the guardian article, that buying pressure was probably picked up by a few day traders who got 15-20% and then sold..

so there's some substance behind the rise

The article points to the environmental concerns of mining. Doesn't Vulcan Energy have a solution for all that? And it's carbon negative, and has resources that eclipse all other european projects combined.

Ged is there a scoping study or similar reference doc for Mutamba?

The risks are obviously the protest groups and getting the offtake agreements or funding for the mine.

The sentiment is at an all time low because of continual delays. It looks to me that it will be Q1 or early Q2 for EIA approval, DFS and funding.

Meanwhile there is the world class project in Mutamba. We await news.

Did have many Guardian readers down as raging opportunist capitalists. Good article though and pretty evenly handed.Tomorrows Benchmark 11am slot and the Iberian Li Summit late afternoon might bring more out. Wonder when/if the Port gov will deem Li a critical mineral, in line with EU and US?

thanks Ged, I've been on adfvn from about 2008 under a couple of names, so definitely not very new :) But I imagine its the article thats provided a boost here.

GED, FLc thanks. EBITDA of Low side $72m annual, so very close to my rough figures. upside to $90m annual.

As per on AML, I try to assign tangible value, plus consider risks and sentiment.

On SAv, there is the obvious risk associated with community groups, legal challenges etc. but at this price, seems a good risk/ reward.

Hi sif12...I'm not great with numbers but the detail from the 2018 scoping study can be found on SAV website.
