19/1/2018 11:41 | Ged, hi. Certainly did and despite the reference to lithium by the interviewer it was all brought back to Moz, and Moz only. Methinks the lack of comment on anything else says things might be round the corner. Good weekend | inbrackets
19/1/2018 11:02 | Did you all see the latest video tweeted by SAV on Tuesday? hxxp://www.proactive | ged5
19/1/2018 10:49 | Good post (376) paleje. I noted that Fisker's Emotion was exhibited with a Lithium ion battery and his magnesium solid state battery was a separate exhibit. He still hasn't a patent for it yet! There seems to be an awful lot of research on solid state batteries of various types, the most interesting to me being Lithium with graphene balls. However the consensus seems to be that the Lithium ion battery will be used until at least 2025. So plenty of time for SAV to make a lot of money from Portugal. A slower start to the year than some of us expected. I note from that article IB, (thanks for posting) that Oman licence news is further delayed. Good news from Mozambique. Now let's have those Grandao results. Next week? | ged5
19/1/2018 09:33 | Looking at these closely. GLA, GD | greatfull dead
17/1/2018 17:35 | Bronco, Yeah I guess they've already got the permit for the trial mining and government officials turned up to cut the tape. Those are the large scale long-term full mining permits that we'll hear something about in the next six months or so. Regards, Ed. | edgein
16/1/2018 22:25 | Not much off a reaction today, I suppose news of applying for stuff is not a massive deal. Presumably we can run the pilot plant without these permits? | broncowarrior
16/1/2018 07:47 | Very good to see Moz moving forward towards commercial mining. The current pilot plant must be giving the desired results for the three full 25 year mining permits having now been applied for. Should hear something within the next 6 months and more from both Oman and Portugal in the mean time. Our CEO seems quite chipper about the event, I guess for a world class project with Rio Tinto he has every right to be. "David Archer, Savannah's Chief Executive Officer said "The submission of the Mining Lease applications is a key milestone and a great start to 2018. This is the final formal step in the process of securing long term Mining Leases over globally significant deposits of heavy mineral sands. This follows the commissioning of the pilot processing plant in Q4 2017 which will be used to produce concentrate as a part of the Pre-Feasibility Study which is currently underway. "We believe our timing means we are well placed to take advantage of the increasing global demand for titanium feedstocks." Regards, Ed. | edgein

14/1/2018 19:30 | Near term value is Oman and the permits are taking far too long.Copper is shaping up nicely and Mining from H2 will see this motor... | highly geared
14/1/2018 19:26 | Thanks IB, looks bullish. Just want to make sure they don't take their eye off the bell in Oman and keep chasing up those permits.Really do think the lithium could be worth 200mm plus on its own. | broncowarrior
14/1/2018 17:41 | Ged, the promised January pr starting to roll out maybe?http://www.pro | inbrackets

08/1/2018 14:26 | Good articles Ged, and potential spanners indeed. That's the trouble with technology, it isn't always the front runners who win and the incentive for innovcative competitors is massive. I said on here a week or so back, very important to get into production early, there's lots of lithium in the ground and there's lots of serious money to be thrown at it but the big players are canny, they know things can change, they also know if lithium stays favourite they can dig deep and accelerate productions much faster than the small caps, they can also take out small caps along the way. I'm still happy here because I think DA knows the score and lithium's got to be good for several years whatever happens but definitely not to dilly dally. | paleje
07/1/2018 13:03 | News to tomorrow? First proper day back!Start the year with a bang! | tommygriff
07/1/2018 12:17 | I remember you reporting back after that presentation, paleje. It's good to hear such comments about the management. I agree, Bronco. SAV's market cap is a third of BCN, so plenty of room for growth. However, do we "have a spanner in the works"? A very interesting article in yesterday's Times by Giles Whittell. | ged5
05/1/2018 15:04 | Looking forward to it BW. | paleje
05/1/2018 11:19 | BCN are further along the value curve - have a feasibility study with real numbers and NPV, allows people to put a value on the asset properly. We are not there yet, we should see a similar jump when that happens. | broncowarrior
03/1/2018 11:01 | Happy New Year to all. Yes IB,a really good break and now looking forward to what promises to be a transformational year. (again!) Indeed Edgein, 3 quality assets. I've not seen Soulsauce's competition but SAV would be a good entry especially if Oman takes off on time. Thanks for posting the latest SAV tweet, paleje. I thought it was interesting that BCN have 3 institutions on board. Probably explains their £140M market cap. I am becoming more and more convinced that Portugal will be of strategic importance in the Lithium market. Spodumene being highly sought after and it looks like there'll be plenty of it. | ged5
03/1/2018 09:34 | I know we already know lithium will play a vital part in the electric cars market but the importance of getting into production early cannot be over-stressed, there is plenty of lithium in the ground, the early birds will clean up... or get taken out, I think DA is acutely aware of that. | paleje
02/1/2018 13:58 | Ged, Good summary, lots to send these higher this year, not just the upcoming JORC for Res with its higher grades and wide intersects. The HMS project looks exceptional and I'd have chosen SAV in Soulsauce's O&G and miners to double in 2018 had I been around on time to get a vote in. Oman should keep us ticking over nicely as well as further results from Portugal until we get the licence and feasibility from Mutamba, partnering with Rio T gives an indication of the class of this project. Mid cap in the wings. Regards, Ed. | edgein
31/12/2017 11:13 | Ged, hi.I see they mention Cornwall......? Bound to fly much like Icarus Productions Inc, not.Hope you had a good Christmas and are truly excited for the next year , all starts again in under 48 hours.B | inbrackets
