Some shareholders could have died whilst holding this share. It's absolutely diabolical to be suspended for two years and two months with very little info. Can't believe the FSA haven't got involved by now. Surely no share can be suspended for this length of time. By the way upwego as far as I'm concerned you are quite right to vent your fury. hear, hear sir! |
Exactly, which again will be AK's fault. It wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't try and keep SAVE suspended for as long as possible to get nearer to the courts CHAD findings.
If there is anything in a deal in South Sudan AK must know the details. It's obvious if there is a deal to be done it is a paired down one to the original and therefore the question is, is it still of a size that merits suspension like the original did? I doubt that very much.
All smoke and mirrors from AK with very little information. His 'trust me' method of management is beginning to unravel. It's terrible that he's been allowed to treat shareholders like this for 2 years while still giving such little information.
And all this on the back of the Chad debacle. |
Nothing wrong with posting and venting your frustration among fellow shareholders ! That's what these boards are for! The problem we have now is that if the shares start trading without a secured acquisition, the built up anger and frustration will make the exodus seem like an African savannah stampede ! |
I will apologise again regarding my post the other night, maybe drink gets the worse out of you and I apologise once again to all.
Anyway, I think the frustration here is getting these same old updates every other month and with absolutely no substance apart from blah blah blah.
It is frustrating just being kept in the dark with really no material update, anyway let`s see what happens 2 years is a long time, very long time to be suspended and I don`t remember any company ever being suspended over this period for an aquisition.
My thoughts are we will be suspended the whole of this year as this is now like another fresh transaction recently, so this will take some time, I will no longer post until we are back trading as I will get frustrated.
Lets hope its sometime this year.. |
Highly Geared,
Totally Agree !
AK is taking the pi$$ ! |
The whole point in investing in a public listing is the ability to trade your shares (whether for loss/gain).
If we’d have wanted to invest in unlisted or privately owned businesses, we wouldn’t be here.
The current situation is unacceptable on many levels but particularly in denying people choice, access to their money and opportunity cost. Shareholders are being treated with contempt. |
Apologies accepted. This is a frustrating situation. |
I wasn't going to comment, but agree with you pldazzle.I filtered yesterday, I have sympathy with the sentiments, but I don't wish to be exposed to such vitriol. |
upwego - you're obviousl p•ssed as a newt, but there's absolutely no justification for hate posts and foul language. The rest of us shouldn't have to read this drivel. Regardless of the merits of your points, the way you express them is repellent.
Not filtering you this time, though it's a close call - you post intelligently enough when you're sober. |
Post deleted apologies to all! that was very rude indeed. Apologies |
A bit of a fluff piece, but does suggest that the oil is flowing. |
Cordwainer I've also got some shares in my SIPP (iWeb), fortunately I can hold US stock. If you're worried transfer to a new provider, do an 'In Specie' transfer. Depends on how much you could potentially loose against the cost and nausea of transferring. Hope this helps. |
Hopefully ours will be more straightforward |
Production average 22,700 boepd for 10 months. 23,100 boepd 12 months.Implying Nov and Dec production was 25.1kboepd |
As I'm holding this in a Fidelity SIPP I'm fearful of a relisting on NYSE, making me a forced seller at the wrong price. |
Also, our net debt does include the Chad acquisition. So that's $200 million odd. So, our net debt is really not that bad. |
End October 2024 v End Dec 2024 update.
Production average 22,700 boepd for 10 months. 23,100 boepd 12 months.
Total Income $320.3m 10 months. $393.6m 12 months. (Means $73.3m invoiced last 2 months).
Cash Balance $53.4m end October to $32.6m end of December.
Cash Collection end of October $239.8m with an additiional $8.7m collected by end of December to $248.5m.
Net debt end of October 2024 $568.7m with $80.5m due in = $488.2m. Net debt end of December 2024 $634m with $145.1m due in = $488.9m = an increase of underlying net debt of $0.7m since the previous update and net debt of $473.7m end of Dec 2023. |
If I was being obtuse, I'd summarise and say our cash has dropped 70 million and our debt has gone up 140 million. Our total income has increased by apx 100million.Production down by close to 2.5%. |
Che7win "No real growth in revenues" hence the obsession with getting something out of SS. If Chad had not gone sideways that would have been significant growth. Ho hum, roll on March |
Statement is steady and inline, but so frustrating to be in the dark on acquisition, having waited this long.No real growth in revenues |
Pretty sure the net debt increase is due to other income having slipped into the next period and the FX losses. So, hopefully the Chad compensation will move us to a zero net debt situation. |
