19/12/2016 12:14 | By Ian Walker LONDON--San Leon Energy PLC (SLE.LN) shares rose as much as 29% in early trade Monday after the shale gas company said it has received a bid approach, which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the company. The company, which was responding to weekend press speculation, said there can be no certainty an offer will be made, or the terms of any possible deal. No-one from the company was able to add any further comment. Shares at 1205 GMT were up 8.88 pence, or 21%, at 52 pence, having peaked at 55.5 pence earlier in the session. They are currently up 61% over the past 12 months. The Sunday Business Post reported that San Leon Energy has been approached by a Chinese investor in recent weeks about a bid worth around 80 pence a share, quoting market sources. | o1lman
19/12/2016 12:12 | I wonder if he's pleased that SLE have received a bid ? can't wait for sl1nky to give his definitive answer. | o1lman

19/12/2016 11:58 | yep, SPA is the NOMAD who is paid to ramp the share, u are hardly consistent. | o1lman
19/12/2016 11:57 | There is an exchange market size that the mmaker has to make a quote for, if he isn't interested in trading he makes his bid/offer away from the price, maybe u don't understand L2 correctly ? | o1lman
19/12/2016 11:54 | Another OT ;-) From SPA Given the potential of OML 18 and the short time elapsed since its completion, we believe that the valuation that any potential bidder makes for the Company will have to reflect the core valuation which is in excess of 75p, given the recent rise in oil price. Based on today’s forward curve, the lower end of our valuation range increases from 68p to 75p, which should now be the guide price against which any offer is measured. | elrico
19/12/2016 11:53 | Ah, some sense...I do believe TOSCA could be foolish enough....they have been known to be suckered into the odd fraud before now. But to be clear, I am not suggesting SLE is a fraud, it's just a typical AIM company that needed a trip to the vets more times than the average dog with fleas. | elrico
19/12/2016 11:48 | pse, pse, pse, let the bid materialise and pse, pse, pse let it be TOSCA bidding. | o1lman

19/12/2016 11:35 | Somewhere between 60-70p IF a firm bid is to come in. OLM18 has progressed well, the bears would have LTH believe otherwise. I am not a LTM I am just trading on news OLM18 does perform and leopards does change their spots. SLE is currently under what an expect 30% premium, which takes us to c56p, hence the tail-off until firm news. I don't see SLE gaining much more, possible close close to where we are now, c18% up on the day. I'm in at 47p, which is where my stop is now. So there you have, nailed my colours to the mast...take aim... | elrico
19/12/2016 11:34 | where's sl1nky, maybe he believes they are going to be taken out for a song. | o1lman

19/12/2016 11:07 | I took part on one of your courses this summer and I wanted to send you a belated thank you. The next day I got myself Level 2 and sold all of my positions, most of them had losses, I then started to buy shares, some which we found on the course and others using the techniques you shared, the simplicity of your selection process surprised me but I also found it easy to apply. Within a couple of weeks I felt so much more at ease trading, I wasn't worried about my decisions anymore because I felt in control of each trade, I knew when to sell and when to hold on and I'm no longer anxious when I open my account because it's always in the plus. ............... from the Naked Trader site, he's made a million what a fool, could have made so much more if he didn't believe in that L2 sh1te. | o1lman
