anyway look on the bright side u could have been posting here, like sl1nky, since it was £40.00, that is some out performance.
if u had bought 9k worth of shares it would be worth after nearly 4 years £450
if u get 17% yield on that, u will not but let's fantasise for a moment, £76.50, going to take a while to get back to 9k !!!!!
now if the share value rises the yield falls so will still receive £76.50, u should be able to buy some ' stuff ' with that.
looking at the figures I understand why u never comment on SLE but follow me around like a dog with rabies.
having supported the share for 4 years, how many cheap warrants were u offered ?
TOSCA got there's at 25p.

I do not have any disappointment. I was in IEC, Encore and NPE when they were taken over. I suspect BLVN will be added to that list too.

such a strange share, they get a takeover bid but no one is happy apart from me, maybe it's something to do with the share falling from £40.00 to the 50p area ?

There is a BIG difference between 'press speculation' and a Company announcing it has had an approach.

Only a spread betting addict would fail to spot the difference.

SLE have sold out the shareholders to TOSCA, they have voting control of the company, if they want to accept the bid/or bid they will. If not the price will return to the area it was before the bid was announced.
I hope the bid succeeds and this dog is finally put to sleep, what about u sl1nky, go figa, tee hee.

Did you hear that BHS had numerous bids from Poundstretcher, Matalan and even Phillip Day - didn't mean it was exactly a gem in the retail sector. With all that liability SLE owns won't get much. But fanny ' s running out of lives, so probably will need to ditch this at some point on the cheap.

Good time to short or sell any mouldy shares. Maybe this is the same takeover as the last one, once they look under the bonnet of the company - they will probably move on, leaving the share price to drop to about 40p. Unless of course it's Tosca, then it's bye bye all those noddy holders. Either way it's no dividends all round and most likely a packet of crisps for the majority of any current shareholders left here.
