01/3/2023 13:19 | Sainsbury's is also proposing to close the last three Habitat showrooms later this year as it transitions to a purely digital offering. | loganair
01/3/2023 09:36 | Well it didn't help the share price. | smurfy2001
01/3/2023 07:46 | If a significant no of them are allowed to doss/work from home and also now have the option to do 4 day weeks. Then they may aswell close that one too. | spob
01/3/2023 07:41 | Sainsburys said yesterday they are closing the Argos head office while stating that only 11% of desk space is used on average. Does anyone have a rough idea what percentage of desk space is used on average at Sainsbury's main Holborn head office ? It is very likely some workers from Holborn read this board. | spob
28/2/2023 20:22 | All quiet on the Bestway front but it wouldn't take much for them to increase to above 5% which would require another holdings RNS. | bountyhunter
28/2/2023 19:18 | You are of course right but I don't think it's to do with saving company profits it's more annoyance that they are working hard to earn a wage and support their families while others think it's ok to just help themselves to it. | tim 3
28/2/2023 19:11 | Yes Tim I know. I have always found it strange that members off shop staff would get involved in these situations. Putting themselves at risk to save a few pennies for a multi billion pound ftse 100 company. | spob

28/2/2023 15:07 | Not a good time to sell either unless they think that property values still have some way to go in the downwards direction, which might possibly be the case. Asset stripping and Philip Green spring to mind. | bountyhunter
28/2/2023 13:27 | Thanks bounty. The interest alone on Morrisons debt has increases from £100mln to £400mln since being taken over. Sale and lease back, only means ever increasing rent payments for Morrisons with less and less Freeholds to back them up. | loganair
28/2/2023 12:33 | Hi logainair, I've removed the 2mth chart with volume which I agree was superfluous and extended the 1 yr chart to 5yrs. The comparison chart is there to show any divergence going forwards although there's not been a lot of that to date excepting Ocado which would have been a very poor investment by comparison with the other three. Did you notice the custom "SKIP" button I added top right to make it easy to skip straight to the posts? It's the same as the Advfn one but bigger so easier to use on a mobile device. | bountyhunter
28/2/2023 12:00 | Fingers crossed Sainsbury's are next. Lots of assets to strip? | tradejunkie2
28/2/2023 09:23 | bounty - I was wondering if you would reduce the header a little as no real need for the 2 year comparison or share volume charts, really just needs the daily and yearly price movement 'charts', 'long term chart' and RNS news feed - keeps the header simple and to the point. | loganair
28/2/2023 07:11 | I think Sainsbury's has more to be honest (When you include all liabilities and don't bury the head in the sand) | spob |
