They said that about Wm Morrisons a while back, since then it has nearly doubled . Have every confidence in SGE. Added 4000 this morning, hoping the present weakness is a buying opportunity. Have held them for a long time, but just can't recall what sent the price rocketing to 912p in March 2000, must have been a rumoured take over.

not another down day! cmon , need this to get over 260p for starters....ex div wednesday......so u need to hav this at end of trade tuesday if u want the divi- so start buying!

Bridgewell noted that Sage had announced a restructuring of its US business but said there were still concerns that Microsoft was gaining ground against Sage within the small and medium-sized business market. George O'Connor, technology analyst at Panmure Gordon, described Sage's results as "workmanlike" and said growth in the US mid-market was "disappointing". But he added that he was encouraged to see Sage's recent acquisitions generate growth.

Many companies rally into their results and then sell off immediately after them. SGE just followed this scenario.

They rally because of the high expectations of the results and then when people actually see the results reality hits home and despite how good they might seem it's like "" Well, theres now no need to buy them in the short-term so might as well sell! ""

Sure it'll recover for you. SGE is a quality company. It might take a few weeks however before they do recover.

FTSE100 dropping also not helping you either.

stevi111.............stevi111............... well who wud had believed it! i thought it was just a rumour, what ppl were saying about u! but it turns out to be true...........where ever there is a share which has fallen/falling alot u r always on that b/b!............................u ok! am stuck here! company gave good report a few days bac , cant understand the reson for such a big fall........from 268 to 253 (is a big fall) but someone else here said that this is what alwas happens wth sage.....then after a few days it recovers! well lets hope it does, cuz im missing out on shares like vod- which r looking good value for money at mo! pray for me.stevi111! lol

will we ever see 260p again? i dont know how the hell brokers can hav targets of 270p-300p a share! it makes u laugh...............a 2.5% fall again today- heads need to roll....such a bad performance in re to the share price! the guys on the top shud get a wage cut and no rise until they get the share price up to where it shud be! nuf said, ive had my long moan,, so i apologize to the ppl on this b/b...

onlyfoolspoker, since usemm to be the only other poster here, can u explain what the hell is going on? a fall from 268.25 to 256p and lower yesterday is a big fall?!!!!! why? yesterday's staement was not bad, it was in line,and they've put up the div as well, so why the fall?.................thanx
