05/7/2002 14:40 | This was tipped as a long term buy at 557.5p in City Confidential yesterday. Nothing we don't know already but nice to see another tipsheet come on board. | sranmal
05/7/2002 14:06 | lol Freddy, I'm mean't to be sitting on my hands at the mo, waiting till Autumn, and then you go and reinforce my thinking........will I hold already, but want more.... cheers | mick p
05/7/2002 13:33 | 515-530 looks like an east t-trade if you get in now, the spread is only 3% and it only takes veyr few buys around 1,000 shares to get it moving up 15% | ydderf
26/6/2002 00:11 | SUS - getting knocked with everything else on very small volume - someone will spot this opportunity and it won't stayhere for long - great yield - low per - all imho jb9 | julesb9
25/6/2002 13:42 | You're dead right - so am I! | julesb9
25/6/2002 13:09 | I'm back in now. Getting very cheap again Andy | andysand
11/6/2002 00:50 | small sellers having the upper hand or something more sinister? | julesb9
10/6/2002 17:55 | Freddie I thought you would have known the muppets well enough to have sold out 640p to buy back at current levels!I wished I had ... but I have settled in for the long term. | alfwilson
10/6/2002 17:42 | I noticed the same thing happening to another of my UV shares - HVE - small punters profit taking after it went ex-div. | sranmal
10/6/2002 14:50 | At 550ish this looks a fair price for a good company that have just posted very upbeat statements.Despite the spread of about 4% this looks like time to grab a few. | cwa1
10/6/2002 14:25 | I saw that statement - think I'm going to top up at these levels and watch the bounce. Thanks anyway - jb9 | julesb9
10/6/2002 13:04 | usual story - the price moves with a modest sale and the muppet hordes give their shares back to the mms at a bargain price, once a muppet always a muppet, and you can see how they stay that way - there was a very positive agm statement only a few days ago! | ydderf
06/6/2002 00:24 | the price retreated first thing today due to it going ex-dividend (20p) | biggcl
06/6/2002 00:17 | Hear Hear - all looking good - it's a bad day for the market - so a couple of small "panicky sellers" and the price gets smacked - for sure this will improve - dyor imho etc - time to pick up some cheaper stock? | julesb9
05/6/2002 15:31 | well spotted on the divi - another 20p in the bin! | julesb9
05/6/2002 11:48 | i suggest you pay immediate attention to the charirman's agm statement just issued.......... | ydderf
25/5/2002 17:01 | It doesn't weaken much! Alot of people have been waiting for an opportunity to enter on weakness....unlikely IMO. The yield underpins it too much. Andy | andysand
24/5/2002 08:25 | Great value stock.Lets have more weakness in which to buy more. | washbrook
20/5/2002 17:15 | Alf I can't usually find a reason for a bad chart with good fundamentals. There could be many factors that are making people sell TTS. They could be suffering in sympathy with TIG as the market is very suspicious of TIG's accounting methods. There could be inside info of course, or there could be no good reason! Sorry I can't explain better. They are not a buy though in my book until they start showing some strength although I may consider a few at 95p to see if they bounce. Too illiquid to risk too much though. Andy | andysand
20/5/2002 16:04 | drifting back on small volume again, soon be time to buy imho...pity the market makers act as matched bargain agents rather than do a proper job - however the 10p spread is about as narrow as i have seen it for a very long time..... | ydderf
15/5/2002 16:42 | andy An 'interesting' selection ... you will have to explain your rational one day. Total Systems TTS ... looks like a great prospect ... with my calculations suggesting fair price of 165p plus/minus 10% if eps of 9.25p is confirmed in July. But the chart tells anothers story (abandon ship story) can you help with a possible explanation? Alf | alfwilson
15/5/2002 14:10 | I'm with you on Cosalt - have got a few of those - very dull, very boring, but steady as a rock - and they make life jackets amongst other things!! - you gotta feel safe with that!! jb9 | julesb9
15/5/2002 00:15 | Asolutely agree. Always had a target on these of 750p-800p. Andy | andysand
15/5/2002 00:01 | Any target price ideas with those uprated forecasts- seems to me this stock warrants an expansion of earnings multiple to 14/15 - any one agree! | julesb9
14/5/2002 18:39 | Well, I think it's important to watch the trends now. High yielding shares have been very fashionable but sooner or later, growth shares will be rearing their head again. Having said that, there's still a few good ones out there. Ben Bailey looks an exellent bet,Cosalt is a safe though possibly unexiting bet so there's two. I am also considering a couple of software stocks (Oh God!) but with good earnings. I don't yet own these as i am uncertain of the technicals on them at the moment and I like to use lots of tools in my share picking. Anyway, here they are: Planit Holdings and Total Systems. Neither has a very pleasant spread at the moment though! Andy | andysand |
