16/11/2020 18:22 | Norbert, Good stuff. 100p! Better not put you in charge of any sales negotiations! I see that Ken Lever is on the board at Gresham. I think Richard Staveley has got the valuation metrics bang-on if they can get back to 10% margins and move the top line as well. Those guys called AUG to perfection. Here's hoping they do the same with RPS. Cheers! | simon gordon

16/11/2020 13:27 | Been in a 30p to 60p trading range since it collapsed. Breaks 60p that should be the new floor with upside to 90p over time, as a chart recovery story, by creating a new trading range. Good chance to see this back at 150p in 2022, if it's not taken out before. Vaccines are all. | simon gordon
16/11/2020 13:21 | Close to the highs back in June. | battlebus2
15/11/2020 21:55 | It relates to at least one contract on Rhode Island but I don't have many details.Mgt seem confident it's not a significant issue although I believe that legal fees are likely to be about £1.5-2.0m for FY/20.I also believe they have now largely completed the investigation and are discussing the results of the investigation with the US Govt. This transition from investigation to discussion should reduce the legal costs significantly. Like all such things (I recall clearly the SFO investigation at Sweett Group) it can take a while to resolve fully! | norbert colon
15/11/2020 19:07 | "Making Complex Easy" is always going to be a thankless task. Thanks for the recent posts here. Not really looked into this before. | shieldbug
15/11/2020 17:20 | Look forward to reading that Norbert. I've been trying to find some detail on the legal issue in America, can you point me to anything about this story? | simon gordon
14/11/2020 10:14 | Thanks Simon and iirc you, like myself, have followed this sector for a while including Waterman.I'm doing some more research on RPS at present and hope to post it over the coming days. | norbert colon
14/11/2020 07:17 | Norbert, Thank you for posting the Gresham House interview and Q3 update. Has really helped me to build a picture of the upside here. It's got a lot of bullish ingredients at 57p once Covid abates as an economic issue. The newsih CEO and his new top team are building back better. Cheers! | simon gordon
13/11/2020 23:13 | From Gresham House Strategic interims as out earlier this week:RPS Group plcWe added another core holding to the portfolio in September, participating in the GBP20m liquidity raise by RPS Group plc and built a c.6% weighting in the company in the process. RPS Group plc is an environmental planning and consultancy business serving the infrastructure, energy, transport and property sectors, tapping into some key growth drivers such as urbanisation, infrastructure spend and renewables. Significant revenues are derived from the public sector which should benefit from increased government spending. Our investment case centres around operational improvements driving margin recovery to sector averages, a repaired balance sheet and, following post-COVID recovered sales levels, improved organic growth delivery. There has been significant consolidation activity in the sector. RPS Group plc was two years into a turnaround under a new management and Board, with green shoots emerging just as COVID-19 struck. The fundraise has allowed us to gain exposure to the upside that the earnings recovery can deliver after much of the 'heavy lifting' has already been undertaken | norbert colon
13/11/2020 10:55 | I think it would be a good fit - not sure if its likely though. Anything around 100p would be great. I promised a friend of mine who works for RPS that we'd take his family to day out somewhere decent if they hit a quid, so 99p would preferable. | dr biotech
12/11/2020 21:31 | Recommend listening to $TTEK (they acquired WYG in 2019) latest earnings call. Some commentary at 30mins re: a UK acquisition with a focus on the UK water sector and a business having economics expertise: RPS cover both of these: | norbert colon

26/10/2020 15:58 | Yeah, never quite aligns. However, thought there is meant to be an update near the end of October. So should be soon. | camo1997
26/10/2020 13:14 | According to IG there should have been an IMS today. Perhaps later this week, as the dates aren’t set in stone. | dr biotech
