31/7/2020 07:53 | Did they Dr, they have just paid a special dividend... Andrews Sykes pay special dividend out of surplus cash pile. 24 Jul 2020. | scars
31/7/2020 07:38 | They cancelled that dividend. Given some of their staff are still on furlough and reduced pay it wouldn’t look good to pay shareholders.. | dr biotech
31/7/2020 07:23 | Jeez. If someone can't see why halving the debt is positive for holders then perhaps they should find another hobby. The outlook is hardly surprising - some sort of medical issue affecting world economies (allegedly) :) | wigwammer
30/7/2020 19:23 | Are you sure of your facts Dr? Andrews Sykes: FY 2019 Results Admit 50% Of UK Staff Are Furloughed Although Management Talks Of “ResilientR | scars
29/7/2020 10:20 | Won't be a dividend this year - they have taken furlough money so its not allowed and I doubt they are profitable enough to prudently do so for some time. What I's like to see is no surprises and a more positive outlook. | dr biotech
29/7/2020 08:45 | The debt has nearly halved, meaning lower risk of default and higher chance that future returns are spent on dividends rather than interest payments. I can't begin to imagine why this may be positive for shareholders though :) | wigwammer
29/7/2020 07:26 | So dividend news next week, maybe! | scars
24/7/2020 08:01 | Don’t have to hold to comment, as long as it’s not a cretinous “5p on fundamentals” type of guff. Seems balanced enough. I see this as a 2-3 pyear investment and that’s the timescale I consider for most of my investments. Not that my record is anything to shout about. | dr biotech
24/7/2020 07:30 | Keithlorna - Not at the moment - had in the past - was thinking of getting back in after the fall but having disturbed the bulls no one has come up with sufficiently strong reasons to counter the above mentioned brokers notes - all be it they all have higher targets than the current share price but that is the nature of brokers - usually trying to drum up business and much of the time their targets are never reached. | pugugly
24/7/2020 06:59 | I don't think their Q2 report was to beleaguer compared to the rest of the macro-environment. Even if their y/y revenue drops, i'm sure their BV will be far about the current market price. Dividends may not return till 2021 - so be it, prudent to save cash, fine with me. Since the March lows its definitely trending back up - new highs, higher lows, just very volatility (all the more fun). | camo1997
24/7/2020 06:56 | PUGUGLY are actually holding any of this stock? Your comments suggest not! | keithlorna
23/7/2020 16:39 | Just checked 3 broker forecasts re future dividends - All 3 none for fy's 20 and 21- Two saying none for 22 and one suggesting 1.2p - So unless a possible capital gain through share price apprciation stagnant cash for 2 to 3 years with always the possibility of futher share price decline but again it might go up - | pugugly
23/7/2020 15:49 | See your point on the intangibles margins but think the drop is a little OTT even then. | scars
23/7/2020 15:36 | Just realised first looked at this company back in 2002- OK some nice spikes on the way but now down some 65% from the price than file opened 18 Aug 2002 re Sunday Telegraph AT 121.5 Environmental services company RPS Group (121.5p) has recently announced strong results, with interim operating profits up by 31 per cent. The better-than-expected increase builds on the company's strong track record of increasing earnings by an average of 25 per cent annually over the past five years. The company is a beneficiary of the ever-increasing environmental regulation which has increased demands for its services. RPS, which operates mainly in the UK, Netherlands and Eire, is now moving into new markets, such as nuclear safety. So far it has done so through acquisitions which, overall, have proved earnings enhancing. Buy. | pugugly
23/7/2020 15:18 | Debt - Assets mainly intangible - very narrow margins - What is there to like? | pugugly
23/7/2020 12:51 | Still failing to see why this share price is under so much pressure. Q2 revenue decline 20% but share price is already down 70% you. Any ideas? | scars
22/7/2020 10:28 | Back blue by the end of the day.... who knows. Let the games begin! | scars
22/7/2020 08:48 | Still counting on the dividend re-instatement to pick this back up, I believe it usually output early August so not too long wait! | scars
22/7/2020 08:44 | I didn't see anything in the update that would lead to this drop. Outlook a bit cloudy and they think the V shape recovery may not be so realistic - but nothing company specific. I'll continue to hold long term. | dr biotech
22/7/2020 08:29 | Must be time to buy then! | scars
22/7/2020 08:26 | HATE THIS BLOODY SHARE | az4hr
22/7/2020 08:21 | So what was not to like about yesterday's update? Or are have the games begun! | scars
21/7/2020 23:03 | No surprises today except the 10% share price drop! | scars
21/7/2020 08:09 | Looks like a sell on news day! | scars
21/7/2020 07:58 | Apparently they need to be operating at 70% of capacity to make a profit. I think this will slowly recover over the next 12-18 months. No surprises today, which is a positive. | dr biotech |
