Positive, but not by much!

Still think the only thing that will get this moving is the dividend re-instatement, but that is now a probable given that things have stabalised.

Mixed bag with more potential than the current share price gives it. Revenue down 10-20% share price down 70%... Governments pushing money out left right and centre should give stability.

Overall a very positive RNS.

18% reduction in revenue inline with modelling, matched by cost reduction across the business. 55% revenue from governments with increased activity. Bank borrowing nearly halved from unwinding working capitol and cost control. So should react positively.

Cost reductions should offset the currently estimated 17% revenue drop.

Interesting thanks.

The investment case here is pretty simple.

As you state, over time this business will without doubt recover and assuming average annual sales of GBP500m and a notional 5% margin means profits of circa GBP25m.

The mcap is less than GBP120m ie <5x multiple and the P/S ratio is equally cheap.

Needs patience and some risk tolerance but I would expect to see this at 150p+ over the coming 1-2 yrs once their markets are stabilised and assuming no worsening of the macro background.

Saw my friend who works for this lot last week. Said he’s back full time but reduced pay and everyone’s back from furlough. His office is really busy and they’ve taken on quite a few extra contractors. Says other offices are really quiet and may have to let people go. So a mixed picture.

FWIW he thinks the shares will recover in time. HS2 and the A303(?) may provide a boost.

Certainly looks good value at the moment, the next few months could be quite interesting. But you could say that for many sp's at the moment, good money to be earns if you make the right decisions.

Do holders think RPS could be taken out on the cheap? Should it stay at this level it may be difficult to rebuff.John Douglas has history with Coffey International being acquired 5 years ago.

Dividend announcement will be the next big thing imo, expecting a steady rise till then and then hopefully some kind of reinstatement. Not expecting fireworks, but every little helps!

Whilst I use a cheap online broker I have found it pretty difficult to pick up a position, is it normally a problem or just my cheap online broker?

You need to make your mind up lol

It's not the biggest volume day in its history. It is however significant and notable buying interest. The big buyers have cleared out sellers resulting in no stock availability up to price points at 50p and 50.5p and now 51p.

This is very rare for this stock. It's annoying too because can't buy what I wanted, only managed a few.

Anyway, let's see if we can push on and have another go at 60p
