Good news for those who enjoy watching sport ...

The Guardian

Scotland’s chief medical officer has insisted scientific evidence suggests mass gatherings, particularly those held outdoors, are unlikely to result in the virus being passed on.

Speaking at Murrayfield before Scotland’s Six Nations match with France on Sunday, Dr Catherine Calderwood said: “I’ve looked at the scientific evidence very carefully, and what’s emerging is there’s actually very little impact on virus spread from mass gatherings, particularly if they are in the open air. This is not a risk to the Scottish population in hosting this match.

cfc1, Problem is the virus is actually shutting down towns/villages look at China/Italy. It's shutting down offices around the world with workers being asked to work from home if they can. What will that do for global GDP? What will that do for businesses that rely on workers in offices? It's created an uncertainty.

CFC, buried in a weeks time, written on his grave stone the words “what Coronavirus”.
Buried alongside his wife, tradejunkie2, with the inscription, “she may have been short fat and bald but I still loved her”.
Lol.

Does it really matter where the bottom is, predicting the fulcrum is very difficult you can only say I believe I'll be safe over time at the current level.

At the height of the collapse it went to 7p, which is 70p after the 10 for 1 which is today's money.

Why not. If honest I said yesterday I can’t see this dropping lower than a further 30%. Just my feel inline with capitalisation of the bank and other banks. Much better placed now.

share buyback at these prices would be great. However the gov't should not be selling their stake at these low prices... I am tempted to sell my Premium bonds to get some more - but the question is ? what is the bottom on these?

tempted to buy back in - sold for TESLA a while back - mentioned on here. Now thinking RBS price looks crazy....a bit of Corona and the world has gone mad. 250K+ people die of flu each year ! What is this pathetic world coming too!
About time Alison Rose did something USEFUL like share buyback!
