Soon it will be discounting an unpaid financial crisis, covid crisis and 13 years of quantative easing

But let's make a record high first lol

The funds won't be so inclined to back that one now that it's not risk free anymore

Time to discount risk which is about 13 years old now

Sell it to us, and then discount it

😂

FTSE100 is 10% up since Y/E 1999, 22 years ago.

Amazing how it can be that high to some.
That is a compound 0.5%.

There are dividends which is a plus, but then there is inflation.
Spectacularly underwhelming we all agree.

The DOW has tripled over the same period.
One of the keys is that the market is measured in £ Stirling. paper trash.

I think the FTSE100 will approach 9000, up 20% over the next 2-3 years.

Not so sure about cash rich

Since 2008, Global debt to personal debt to car financing to credit card borrowing to everything else, up many fold .

Even the financials markets today are trading on borrowed monies

Not a lot of cash out there at all in the real world

But massive Default potential

It is why the government's did the covid period of supporting salaries . Did you see the forecasts for if they did not?.

Well, lots of employment can't be denied

But hurtling towards stagflation this year

And no gov can afford to pay the public this time

Interesting things happening the economy.

It seems that here and in America consumers are trading up.

Holidays, flights, restaurants , new cars, second hand cars, property.
Everyone is awash with cash except the poorest.
Plenty of jobs available, wages exploding everywhere.

The poorest never make much difference, but get all of the publicity.
A distorted picture always banging on about the bottom 20%.

Not easy to work out how much cash public sector workers save by working from home.
Maybe skiving from home would be more accurate.
Those that do almost nothing at work might as well do it at home.
Teachers Doctors and the rest working part time, no outgoing expenses, full pay.

The price of holidays, travel leisure is about rise.
We are so flush with 'loads of money', we do not care.

RR. will benefit.

The only question I have for FTSE is this

Triple top done? Or poke the record for final liquidity ?
