I'd just question the intellect of anyone that would believe posting here 24/7 is of sane character

I was being kind with fib. I used the weekly swing as the quarterly would be a bit dramatic for now

And in price terms, 310s seems right anyway

Smaller retraces seem too bullish for such a vertical rise

1carus - it's about perception, exacerbated by headlines like :-

""Defence stocks fell as investors tracked a sharp drop in shares in Rheinmetall, a German peer. Its shares fell by more than 12 per cent this morning after earlier hitting its latest record high as traders grew nervous about the sustainability of its record-breaking run. BAE Systems dropped 48p, or 4.3 per cent, to £12.79½, Chemring lost 12½p, or 3.5 per cent, to 348p, QinetiQ slid 11¾p, or 3.2 per cent, to 351p, and Rolls-Royce lost 18½p, or 4.3 per cent, to 410¾p."

No it shouldn't have, but RR do make significant profits from defense but in high value contracts in US and naval. The impact from Ukraine and gaza are minimal so far on RR but the increased international security tensions will lead to increased spending by NATO and western nations on the types of contracts that will benefit RR.
