I do not think the share price has anything to do with smr’s. 40k employee’s in the UK. Thats an extra £36 mill from April in extra NHI. Reeves has to raise more tax. Could be an airline passenger tax or just raising PAYE tax, corporation tax. No knows with these idiots running the country.Jealous ideologists. All my life, Labour, Liberals want to tax business to the hilt. Conservatives under Sunak gave too much away in furlough payments. That and ridiculous lockdown. |

It's the Government that needs the help, not the market |
There has been an update on the Royal Navy’s effort to explore nuclear-powered surface ships, building on its earlier Request for Information (RFI) issued last year.
The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has now invited industrial stakeholders to a workshop at Navy Command HQ in Portsmouth on 20 February 2025 to discuss th0e feasibility and strategic vision for a novel nuclear-powered navy.
Not that it will help RR share price today! |
Markets taking a kicking due to Governments handling of the economy; look at other stocks too. |
Any particular reason pal44. Or is this just general noise? |

UK Will Explore Nuclear Power for New AI Data Center Plan The UK is planning special districts for constructing data centers and will explore dedicating nuclear energy to the sites as part of a Labour government project to boost technology growth and the ecosystem for artificial intelligence.Author of the article:Bloomberg NewsThese "AI Growth Zones" will include enhanced access to electricity and easier planning approvals for data centers, the government said on Sunday. It said the first such zone will be in Culham, home of the UK Atomic Energy Authority. The government will form an energy council, composed of public and private officials, that will explore powering the data centers with small modular reactors that rely on nuclear fission technology. The latest AI systems are incredibly energy intensive, and the explosion of interest in the field has prompted a hunt for new sources of power across the globe. The plan is part of a broader set of proposals to harness AI for public services, expand supercomputing projects and attract technical talent to the UK. Vantage Data Centers said it will invest more than £12 billion ($14.6 billion) in data centers across the UK as part of the initiative. Nscale, another data center company, said it will spend $2.5 billion over three years. Keir Starmer's Labour party has framed AI as central to its economic agenda, but has been slow to introduce policies and faced criticism for confusing early messaging on the topic. Britian's bond market is currently in turmoil, a sign that investors have lost faith in the government's ability to manage debt. |
Hey50 Yes GATE Closed The flight is ready for take-off Let's go next goal is the 6th heaven and above here we go with a little bit of luck🤞 |

KULVINDER 100% That's why the share price has not yet taken off above 600, but it's just a matter of time. Once the UK government orders SMR, other nations will follow suit, just like the sheep lining up for their fodder. |
45QKULVINDER 100% Thast why aDFCVGBHNM,./ |
So they having their mates write sh*t about RR to try to bring the price down.... |
So with over 1000 787's having been delivered its only BA and Virgin having issues, on their 60 or so between them?
Non story really |
The solution to this issue is already being rolled out with the implementation of the 1 Billion investment into a two phase upgrade started in December, so this is old news , but remember when both upgrades are in place then the airlines will have one of the most economical and longest on wing time power units of the market ! |
Filtered Tyg - posters like this are just a waste of time. |
