The solution to this issue is already being rolled out with the implementation of the 1 Billion investment into a two phase upgrade started in December, so this is old news , but remember when both upgrades are in place then the airlines will have one of the most economical and longest on wing time power units of the market ! |
Filtered Tyg - posters like this are just a waste of time. |
Perhaps you should volunteer to join the board as a NED. They are surely looking for someone as inventive as yourself. Nobody in management would have thought of finding alternative sourcing. So far outside the box it's radical. |
What a headache. Perhaps some other manufacturing source for these components is needed. Under license from the IP owners or whatever. The industry needs to think out of the box otherwise planes will just keep stacking up grounded waiting for their engine service… |
Thanks anneagarg and Geck for posting the article |
It's behind a pay wall, could you post? |
hey50, because it's not going to happen. What planet are you on? |
Isn't UK gov announcement due this month re SMR's? Seem to have an idea it was but can't find it anywhere |
January 9, 2025, 1:31 PM Eastern Standard TimeTAIPEI, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--STARLUX Airlines, in partnership with Airbus, and Rolls-Royce, today announced the execution of an option for five A350F freighters, doubling its freighter fleet to 10 aircraft. This strategic move positions STARLUX as one of the largest purchasers of the A350F model. This order builds upon the purchase agreement signed last year at the 2024 Singapore Airshow. A formal signing ceremony held at the STARLUX Flight Operations Center in Taiwan marked the formalization of the purchase agreement.https://stocks.apple.com/AqEpa-YWCSj-Zafz2z0_WDw |

![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) Rolls-Royce shares worth 820p says City brokerElliot Gulliver-NeedhamTuesday 07 January 2025 10:14 amInvestment ReporterHttps://www.cityam.com/rolls-royce-shares-worth-820p-says-city-broker/Despite the strong performance of Rolls-Royce's stock price over the last two years, a City broker is expecting the aerospace company to keep leading the FTSE 100 in share price growth. In a note published today by Panmure Liberum, analyst Nick Cunningham argued that Rolls-Royce's shares could still increase by more than 40 per cent over the next three years. The firm's share price has risen six-fold in the last two years and was the best performer in the FTSE 100 in 2024, thanks to a dramatic improvement in financial performance for the company.Panmure Liberum forecast that the company's share price will fall slightly from 567p to 550p over the next year but rise rapidly to 820p in the next three years, up from 400p and 665p respectively. The analysts credited these predictions partially to a continued rise in civil aviation, which has allowed Rolls-Royce's cash flow to keep climbing.Analyst forecasts for civil aviation predict a peak in the industry during 2028, as it has historically hit a high around eight years after a trough, which it last experienced in 2020.Meanwhile, higher defence spending is also likely to provide a boost to Rolls-Royce's business, with Panmure predicting margins on defence will increase from 13.9 per cent of the firm's business to 16 per cent in 2028.However, the analysts did acknowledge that the stellar growth experienced by Rolls-Royce is not likely to continue at the same pace, stating that profit growth is likely to "continue to be positive, but also less dramatic".Additionally, the risk of a higher tax rate in the UK could dent profit brought in from an expanded business, leading Panmure to leave forecasts for earnings per share unchanged from previous analyses of the company."There has been little sign of the big working capital outflows caused by the pandemic flowing back in this may yet come, but the timing is uncertain, and the need to support a fragile supply chain and to hold bigger stocks of parts than before may not fully reverse, even when the supply chain issues are notionally fixed," warned Cunningham.Yesterday, Rolls-Royce's stock price fell around three per cent after suffering a downgrade from Citi. |
US voiceover, just a snap shot of Tufan. It pays a compliment then metions degradation of engines. This is a video to discredit RR by an interested party that is or will losing out to RR currently if in the future. I hope RR are aware of the vid. Some parts look libellous. |

RR SMR updated web page looking good ! http://www.rolls-royce-smr.com/ |
I noticed this too. Seems since start of this year. Always been a loophole I thought. |
When I see a share price falling because of a brokers note I'm relieved as I know there is nothing wrong Who on earth sells on a broker note these days |
You have to laugh at these brokers. Honestly, I know nothing about investing, but do try and follow the old adage, buy low, sell high. It seems to have worked over time for me. Brokers seem to get it wrong more often than the average punter, which statistically do no better than the indices. |
So price on ADVFN is now 20 mins delayed. When did that first start. |
