15/2/2008 10:58 | trips - dont buy on my say so mate - just my take on things - you aren't someone based in Egypt perchance are you!! | dunderheed
15/2/2008 10:56 | Thanks D for your reply. I am considering adding at these levels. | triples
15/2/2008 10:01 | Its producing some 15000 bbls per day (or likely to be) and has some net asset backing - plus the Madagascar frontier stuff. I think 230 million would be reasonable value market cap for such a company (if not cheap!) - even if everything came in dry? Also they have now got 'operatorship level' (as opposed merely to partner) of block applications in Angola - which is an amazing achievement for a company of this size and worth something in itself! | dunderheed
15/2/2008 09:53 | Why 10%? Is that because it is sold down so far already? What would another duster or two do for the price? I hold. | triples
15/2/2008 09:05 | pb - got to admit if I had the cash for this - looks a great punt - downside drop of 10% but upside potential 180-250% return? Best of luck mate! | dunderheed
14/2/2008 22:09 | Thanks drago, I will stick this one out, I know the risks with drilling and the results so far, plus I am not overly stetched as yet. Thanks for the post pp | poo bear

14/2/2008 11:52 | good luck poo. i'm sure you know that the current market isn't overly enthusiastic in rewarding success. but , it's fanatical in punishing failure and there's 3 wells coming up! | drago
13/2/2008 19:33 | Done and done. | poo bear
13/2/2008 18:07 | good fpr you poo | gryphon2
13/2/2008 12:39 | Absolutely right drago. These prices have not been seen for some while in respect of ROC and the drilling potential is huge. I fail to understand why the share price has been knocked so much in Oz, however I can see what may have influenced such a downtrend, i.e. the reserves downgrade overall and in particular Zhoa Dong and then the last few drills that have failed to perform, but this is all on the back of record production and record price for oil. Anyway, this is an ideal time for me to drop back in at a much reduced average than last time. | poo bear
13/2/2008 11:36 | nice price for speculators to get in at. the mauritanian thing is a whopper of a structure. | drago
13/2/2008 08:58 | last year three outy of four were regarded as having commercial potential. | gryphon2
13/2/2008 07:49 | Nice news just hope they don't all come up dry like the last few. | soulsauce
13/2/2008 07:02 | Driling in Beibu Gulf commences new exploration well. Ho hum. | poo bear
12/2/2008 06:56 | ......and so it continues in Oz -2% | poo bear
11/2/2008 22:43 | Sorry Gryphon, but without good news there is only one way with this now.............. | poo bear
11/2/2008 14:36 | buys now outnumber sells | gryphon2
11/2/2008 07:51 | It will be if Angola flops.......... I thnk this is more to do with the overall Oz market right now, of course the double whammy occurs when they have a duster as seen with Lilac-1. Someone has jumped out early today 20k at 88pence. | poo bear |
