05/11/2003 18:51 | 240p support gone? | panagos
02/11/2003 17:58 | It seems to me that it has reached the bottom. Not without risk though, the consensus forecast profit is down to £14m. I am thinking about buying very shortly. The buying price of 243p ish does though look attractive to me!!! | danny murphy
29/10/2003 13:22 | cant see it, it held this level for a couple of weeks now . Looks like a trend reversal will happen next. imho Personally got some as it still makes 16 million profit and it looks ripe for a takeover at this marketcap | pictureframe
28/10/2003 18:40 | Still, its on a longer term downtrend though | panagos

21/10/2003 12:20 | Me too, spread small for a change (trying to get mugs like me to buy?) not bought a lot, want to see if we get stuffed when it goes ex-div tomorrow. Long term hold, I expect. | monty burns
21/10/2003 12:06 | Just got some of these, looks like its set to bounce of the bottom. Look at the chart imho | pictureframe
16/10/2003 15:16 | Well I said on results day short term target 2.40p, got it spot on, if this has bottomed. Think its upwards now. (16.2 mio profits made) Wish i had put my money where my mouth was | panagos
09/10/2003 16:51 | Not posted there, but still holding 32k of FFY. Consolation for missing out on the big move on DEB, hopefully plenty more to come. Had a look at Symhony Plastics, can't remember why I wasn't so keen - I think I prefer larger mid-caps in general to samller co's, still plenty of value, but spreads and tradeable volumes make exits easier, Another reason I'm hanging off from buying RCDO. | monty burns
09/10/2003 16:37 | Monty, If you look at the 'fundamentals' section it says Oct 22nd. I'm not a fan of buying for dividends and prefer to buy the shares after the drop. The div is about 9p (I think) so we could easily see 225p or lower by the end of the month. I agree with a previous post that this is fairly valued, rather than cheap and I would like to see 200p to buy. Support service companies can easily trade at a pe of 6-7 in difficult times, but like you, I like the 'no debt'. Have you been on the Fyffes thread? I also like Symphony Plastics as a speculative play, and I hold both. | goliard
09/10/2003 16:18 | watching too goliard - fits my main criteria of low PE, no debt, fallen heavily and currently out of favour. There are issues however over the market they work and also the pension cost. PLeased to have been patient ths far and missed the drop today, still waiting. And I can't tell from the results when it goes ex-div. Any ideas? | monty burns |
