In a trading update today it said it saw significant improvement in bidding opportunities and an increase in customer interest and activity levels across the business in the last six months. As a result, it said December has been the best month for order intake since June 2003 and potential order enquiries, which have remained flat from December 2002 to November 2003 rose by 40 mln stg in the last month of the year. | pictureframe

19/1/2004 16:44 | Re point (3) where the hell have you been for the last 10 months?. Re point (1); the trading statement was alot of "jam tomorrow". Re point (2) no they are not - average 2004 forecasts recently slashed to 9.8p average and 2005 to 18p which makes a P/E of over 12 on forecasts over a year out! - hardly cheap given all the uncertainty. Re point (4) that may be the case but at roughly 70% of revenues Europe is far more important to the company. So, it all rests on your "bottom fishing scenario" which you appear to have started at above 240p (plus " a little info I have been given").... mmmm. no comment!. I would suggest the bounce off 180p had more to do with yield support and the degree to which the shares had already fallen in such a short space of time. Still I guess you are entitled to your opinion, just cut the bull. Cheers. | jelfsie
