23/2/2018 09:53 | So how reliable and diligent are these broker analysts in their commentary? Take Numis who were reported as saying this after the H1 results: “However, broker Numis has trimmed guidance for the year to March 2018 due to unexpected delays in the integration of RadiumOne. Pre-tax profits and EPS are now expected at $4.2m and 8.1ȼ, respectively (from losses of $4.7m and 9.2ȼ in FY2017)” Unfortunately for them, the reported net loss last year was actually $18.79m – or about 4 times as large as they said. It shows that Numis have really done their homework on this one – NOT! How they went from a $27m notional loss for calendar year 2017 as per the F-4 estimates to a projected $4.2m pre-tax profit in 2017-18 is beyond me, even with some adjustments expected. Expect more trimming back from now on. But it begs the question, who put them up to this? Were these reports paid for by 1R, or were they all smoking dope? | gowlane
23/2/2018 08:38 | Ed - have a look! | barkboo
23/2/2018 08:37 | Gowlane, the Mr. Honest! - "JWoolley to answer your question, just once though. Why are we still posting here? The answer is purely out of the goodness of our hearts. I am sure we have all benefited from the kindness of strangers from time to time, what would the world be like without that?" The Saint that aint! | barkboo |
