10/11/2017 11:32 | Hi Digi - yes I battle anything I find unfair in life...and hopefully our children will enjoy their time on this planet in a better society...However, I'm not a Guardian reader! I would never hit anyone with an organic Leek! Sometimes it tests my patience - I can however tolerate any delay as an investor. lol The Yume play I think - is nailed on! Gangsters have the tools to to what they like on the aim....in Yankee land, as you know..is a lot different! Scaffolders take is - Gangsters are messing with RTHM to derail the deal, so the Yume share price to some extent has to follow...or the arbitrage will be hammered.. As you well know - at this stage, investors have to value Yume in their own right on an index that is very much cleaner than ours! End result is - the Yume play is very much the better deal....having said that, when this goes through..it wont matter - you can collect your hedge or keep it invested dependent on your RTHM position. | barkboo
10/11/2017 10:09 | lol......I admire you battling these outside forces Barky, the market is no longer as straightforward as picking a winner and riding it through to the finish.....we have every crooked means thrown at us to get us out the saddle....... | digitalis
10/11/2017 09:53 | The Trade Desk beats guidance yet the shares still fell 3.84%... they plunge on outlook statement... "On a per-share basis, the Ventura, California-based company said it had profit of 23 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense, were 35 cents per share. The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 26 cents per share." The Trade Desk Stock Plunges On Revenue Outlook "Thursday reported adjusted third-quarter earnings and revenue above expectations but a disappointing December quarter sales outlook sent shares in the digital ad placement company reeling in late trading." | sikhthetech
10/11/2017 09:38 | The Yume reaction really is puzzling all of us - friends have said it was not as easy to buy on the last trading session but I did not have a lot of problems........we don't discuss amounts. I know a couple of guys that are far shrewder than myself on this Yume share price opinion - they have no answer other than to say it has the form of a winner.....and at these odds, the value of an outsider. We all say our eyes do not deceive - and willingly take up the offer. Interesting to see on the build up to completion, what eventually is the play between the two? | barkboo
10/11/2017 09:05 | N+1 Singer trying its best here. Note out on Research Tree following the brand integration and funding announcements: "The recent drift in the share price highlights deep value. We expect a continued improvement in the business to be announced at the interim results stage on 4th December. " | 1gw
10/11/2017 08:11 | Cash all gone.Rising debt.No profits.Useless BoD.Short to zero. | jonc
10/11/2017 07:24 | The only reverse hedge Geh2 has ever experienced is when he accidentally hit his gear shift after getting over-excited whilst engaging in dogging. The hedge owner was none too pleased! Case pending. | alex1621
10/11/2017 05:19 | Morning Footie. The sun is shining and I'm still here . You must try harder with your banning mechanism, it currently appears to be mimicking the efficiency of R1. | bennywin
09/11/2017 23:54 | The Trade Desk Stock Proves Mortal After Earnings The programmatic advertising speedster tops its guidance in its latest quarter, but the stock still takes an initial hit on the report as a result of a weak outlook for the current quarter. | football
09/11/2017 22:42 | Yes, I've been seeing a few YuMe ads recently as well. Only 62K shares traded (according to Yahoo!) in YuMe today after results issued last night. Seems crazy, but perhaps that's what you get when there are no analysts covering the company, no press release to highlight the results and some of the major shareholders are (perhaps) unable to trade because of being still considered insiders or because of restrictions linked to the tender support agreements. | 1gw
09/11/2017 22:40 | The Trade Desk continues to power ahead... guidance published.. The Trade Desk Reports Third Quarter Financial Results "“We believe we have a strong business model that benefits from faster revenue growth than the programmatic industry and we are excited about the momentum we have as we close out the year and enter 2018. For the full year, we are raising our revenue guidance and adjusted EBITDA guidance. We now expect revenue to be about $306 million and adjusted EBITDA for 2017 to be about $90 million.”" | sikhthetech
09/11/2017 21:57 | Funny I am reading advfn and I get a Yume ad appear. Somebody must be doing something right. | 2oco
09/11/2017 20:46 | Might be worth taking out a reverse hedge position? Works well in a multi currency environment Just a thought? | geheimnis2
09/11/2017 20:41 | Whilst not overly impressed with YuMe y/y top line, very tempted to take an arb in order to retain a position (if deal competes) in R1. It has a very different risk profile which is perhaps lessened due to Q3 numbers, food for thought. Cheers for the spreadsheet and comprehensive explanation GW. | shroder
09/11/2017 17:22 | jw, not yet... Timing... we're around 1/2 revenue, as expected... | sikhthetech |
