Interesting that while our share price has been taking a nasty hit - a massive buy was going through/being filled.

Scaffolders guessed exactly what was happening and joined in the buying - I feel sorry for those that folded.

Johhny Boy and his mates have continually tried to persuade holders this was a wipeout, some good guys took the bait....now he claims to be back in - I suspect they feel cheated, and they have been.

I ask readers not to ever listen to that guy or his mates again - he stopped me posting on his thread because he knows how much I have on him. The guy in my opinion is evil, take his or his friends advice at your peril.

That does not mean listen to me or any other family member - do your own research, and never ever believe a share price mm's just use this method to mess with your mind....play them as we do!

Our price for our first core holding sell is - you guessed it 240p with a lot more to come. Have a plan and stay with it.....don't be swayed by anyone!

It will become very interesting - stock on loan could and will come under pressure...how gangsters can hold this together is beyond even scaffolders - tomorrow will be fun.

I would respectfully suggest that the shareholder analysis in that simplywallst article needs to be treated with a lot of scepticism.

Most obviously the comment that "the general public holds a substantial 10.32% stake in RTHM" seems ridiculous.

From the annual report, Hargreaves Lansdown and TD Direct alone held 9.7% between them at 30th April, then there would have been Barclays, Interactive Investor, Halifax, Selftrade and many other nominee companies which will hold the shares of "the general public" as well as people holding shares in their own name.

So I suspect the analysis in the article is counting many of these nominee accounts as "institutional investors". If you have a look at some of the other analysis the site presents on R1, you can see there doesn't look to have been a huge amount of sense-checking of the data their software has scavenged.

It looks as though today's TR1 is the end result of more than one months accumulation.

General Public Ownership

The general public holds a substantial 10.32% stake in RTHM

Conclusion

I suggest investors seek some degree of margin of safety due to high institutional ownership in RTHM, in particular due to the strong presence of active hedge fund investors. This may enable potential investors to comfortably invest in the company and avoid getting trapped in a sustained sell-off that is often observed in stocks with this level of institutional participation. However, other important factors we must never forget to assess are the fundamentals. I recommend you take a look at our latest free analysis report on RhythmOne to see RTHM’s fundamentals and whether it could be considered an undervalued opportunity.

I would be interested to see how the shares on loan are recovered. It may be a little early to celebrate, however an almighty short squeeze would be simply too sweet for words to describe.Bring it on.

R1 only seem to include RNS'd numbers for the institutions on their shareholder page, so they have R&M's 5% declaration, not the 9.2% that they showed in the Annual Report. R&M have to declare at 5% and 10% I think (then every subsequent 1%) so they are presumably still between 5% and 10%.

If we start from the Annual Report numbers (said to be as of 30th April) and add the subsequent Lombard Odier, Toscafund and Cogefi declarations, ignoring changes in the number of shares in issue, I think we have:

29.0% Toscafund (27th June)
9.2% River & Mercantile (30th April - AR)
6.1% Richard Griffiths (30th April - AR)
5.3% Lombard Odier (27th June)
5.0% Cogefi (14th August)

So about 55% accounted for, subject to changes since the annual report / holdings notices.

Other sources (e.g. Bloomberg, FT, Morningstar) attempt to capture some smaller holdings, below the official notification thresholds, but these are more difficult to verify as being accurate / up-to-date.

Well guys - as this is purely a ramping thread i hope you dont mind me adding a little excitement to the proceedings.

Looks like scaffolders wont need to add much more of their own money to the defence. Gangsters will now have to take on an army of keen buyers.....some say there could be a 40%er before the end of the week.

That will be the signal - the chosen few dont like others knowing their tick-tack!

I dont suppose Loopy will be back tonight - pull the post loopy!

Gowlane - your old bum buddy Johnny Boy now calls this a buy, are you also admitting defeat and call this a buy?

Does this mean you both call Barkboo correct - he has never changed his view.
