23/8/2017 12:30 | I wonder if R1 could have been unable to issue a statement in support of the share price during the recent "collapse" precisely because they were in discussions with YuMe? i.e. there was some potentially market-significant news that they were aware of so they couldn't issue a statement saying "we know of no reason..." but equally they weren't ready to issue a statement explaining what was going on. If there is anything going on with YuMe and it involves R1 paper, it will be very interesting to see what price it is valued at. | 1gw

23/8/2017 12:12 | Kendo....perish the thought old son. If you are but one entity then I pity you. On a lighter note, who has partly released the brake? Perhaps the dark WPP cloud does indeed have a silver lining. | jarvis4
23/8/2017 12:05 | R1 is the biggest by market cap so presume R1 management would survive, if the Alphaville comment about discussions is correct. And if R1 are looking to use paper, it would be nice to see the share price get back towards 50p before the price is set, although both YuMe and R1 prices seem to be on a fairly steep upward trend at the moment. | 1gw
23/8/2017 12:05 | Don't Yume give a divi? | stocky
23/8/2017 12:04 | So long as their main aim is to maximise value for R1 shareholders, I am happy. Not making any assumption that my happiness is of the slightest concern to them, I should hasten to add.Could I suggest a name for the merged entity - R YuMe. Would suit dual personalities, no aspersions to anyone on this board. | wheeze

23/8/2017 10:53 | I think BM did allude to being in negotiations with interested parties last year. Before Perk came knocking on R1's door. Maybe BM could not close? Maybe BM was not trusted? Maybe the radio silence is due to on going negotiations now? Maybe maybe! | stocky

23/8/2017 10:34 | Agreed that R1 are the cleanest out there but there is no evidence that that is proving a big, or any, advantage at the moment. If the industry wants clean, why are they not breaking the doors down? | polythene
23/8/2017 10:31 | Maybe Ted came into bag the deal, as BM was maybe viewed as too dodgy? | stocky |
