lol..

where do I say that I 'RATE RTHM A BUY' - another lie from you??
why is it IMPORTANT to remind readers of that??
I certainly don't agree with you and your deluded views. .. no sane person would agree with you..

So more lies more from you, not surprising, is it...

Good morning all - very important to remind readers that sikhthetech now rates RTHM a buy.

He changes his rating more often than his boxers - but the buy rating is his view as we speak.

Good to see he now agrees with people that know! lol

Touché, wheeze. Pity he can't gloat in grammatically correct English: 'Is your rating now changed to a buy'. Lol. Good to see our resident grammarian mangle up present and past tenses in one sentence, five times in succession. It's 'Has your rating now changed to a buy?', dunderhead.
Incidentally, no need to answer that, having already pointed out that I bought back (those I sold at 43p, post-AGM), at 31.20p a couple of weeks back.

Sikh, never expected Rocket Fuel to last as long as they did and it is even surprising that Sizmek paid $145m for such a consistent loss maker

Also notable was the immediate impact during their negotiations with interested parties of poor quarterly results and guidance. The proposed purchase price was revised sharply downwards straight away.

Perhaps that is why 1R declined to release a trading update after Q1?

All the more reason to deliver a firm and substantial update when the times comes. It must show clarity and the differentiation of our business model compared to our competitors.

Not one to gloat then, Barky ?Seems to be a bit of an impasse at the moment. MMs stubbornly holding the price expecting frustrated holders to capitulate. There will always be a few who either need the cash or those who believe they could make a quick buck elsewhere - decide to sell and move on. L2 info anyone ?

Scaffolders are liking the support - dare I say quietly confident of breaking the hold!

Yes and our resident experts next door were bigging Rocket Fuel up - telling all family members that our management should be as good as theirs. lol

Trust the Footy ramping thread - do whatever you please with the deramping thread!

Dont forget it is a deramping thread than bans positive views including mine - and is run buy a dictator/rag, and his team of yes men!

gl,
agree.. seems there were several parties interested, RF entered confidentiality agreements with 30.. several parties interesed, yet despite that the final agreement sale price was only $2.60... way below the $29 IPO price...

I wonder if 1R was one of the interested parties...

The final sale price shows how much is forthcoming for ad tech companies at the moment... not a lot...

A cautionary tale indeed about the sale of Rocket Fuel, Sikh. IPO’d at $29 in 2013 and now being flogged off for $2.60 a share in 2017.

Ad tech was once thought to be El Dorado, but it has never delivered really, except mainly to the giant US behemoths.

How did Mike Lynch once describe competing against those beasts of Silicon Valley?

"Like a seagull flying into the engine of a passenger jet".

A picture is as good as a thousand words, no wonder he sold down his shareholding and distanced himself from the company

Schroeder, Don't speak to soon!We may suddenly become a Goldman Sach 'Conviction Buy' once more...........?If that is so, I'd sell way below Barky's 2.40 target. That's not negative by the way Digita........sorry I mean Football?

Hi Sikh.I'll round down...340 circa before Rad One integration.540, after Rad One integration. So take out all senior management team and excessive wages of sin on both ventures.515 souls on a lower estimated $40,000 pa.That's a hefty wage bill for any entity to suddenly swallow???, especially if the said parts bought from Rad One were the only ones they wanted so they are very, very, very heavy on $ leakage?Don't get me wrong, but I'm right on the weakness 1R have and have always had in the way of an effective HR proactive assessment and approach.ANDY is still on the payroll and at board level.High time they used this veterans experience and skills in reinvention and positive down sizing within the structural and environmental changes strategies?????Together as one. Then they may become strong still yet?

Ken, I agree, maybe they are already doing so...
is it 500+ staff, 1R currently have???

With regard to the change of leadership, that was my initial reaction too, but this was tempered by the Rad One acquisition which seems like a good fit.

Also, investors cannot escape the fact that post AGM, (new CEO, Rad One) there have been two new additions to the share register plus one existing increasing, not sure on the totals but over 10% given last two TR1's.

Yesterday's TR1 was interesting, both fund managers have a good investment record and clearly like R1, if anyone read the fact sheet you can see comments covering recent buying v low share price.

Not sure it makes much difference, but COGEFI CHRYSALIDE are invested in another ad tech play, ADUX

Lastly, Rad One have an office in Paris perhaps there's some local knowledge of the company?

R1 has morphed into an online marketing mean machine. Are the new investors a result of the Numis conference held in May? Could be.
