The more I look at Perk, the more I don't like it..

Perhaps the TU was delayed waiting for the lock in Perk shareholders... no one really knows, perhaps TU tomorrow??...

I'd be concerned if it was Thurs, given the long Easter weekend...

sikh, as you say the share price will depend totally on performance, ramping will not do it anymore

lots of headwinds out there but maybe they can separate themselves from the herd, it doesn't seem to be the case yet but never say never sort of thing

this late TU is not a good sign though in my opinion, ominous

gl, agree.. and it's metrics like that as well as the pricing, fake news, methbot, which are behind the revolution...

There are a lot of challenges... if we address those challenges then the share price will take care of itself...
For now, we have a fy2017 expectation of $180m revenue and H1 cash position of $69m, so is the mcap of $260m (£210m) reasonable??..

At least we've always respected each other's opinions, regardless of whether we agreed or not, on qxl and on here...

We both know you are a trader and it wasn't that long ago you were saying blinkx were going bust..

The vols were low and there hasn't been a TU, so difficult to say which way the share price will go...

In terms of Tosca or any other takeover, any company wanting to buy would want to buy as cheap as possible.. They invest for themselves, their customers, their shareholders... they don't invest for 1R shareholders...
If Tosca would want to make a bid they would go for as low as possible, so if they believed the share price was going to triple figures, why would they wait???

What interests me is if we ever have a bid situation and a 3rd bidder arrive, then it would be very interesting... just like qxl was...

1R and the ad tech industry faces a lot of challenges ahead and some opportunities... ad tech is fast evolving - lots of media covering the challenges... There are a lot more challenges than there were a few years ago under Blinkx...

I think Perk was a bad acquisition.. and if the reviews and alexa are correct then they seem to be going backwards... not good for their reputation...
if a company is acquiring another company based on their 'engaged' customers then it's foolish to remove a lot of those same 'engaged' customers... that's my take on it...

Alexa shows Perktv web ratings dropping, apps reviews show users abandoning and alexa for Perk O&O show ratings dropping...

good article there on the digital advertising counter revolution Sikh, making the case for third party viewability certification, but this doesn't seem to be pulling in the cash for us, not yet anyhow

maybe because the standards are too low in the first place, e.g. a video ad is "viewable if at least 50% of the player is on screen for at least 2 seconds", lol!

If this is the solution it makes you wonder what the problem was in the first place, not that SBM would know anything about that . . . course not . . . ahem

sikh, I wouldn't have been at all surprised to have seen a test on 50 today as momentum was gathering... and I certainly will not be at all surprised when it shoots through the 60's en route to treble digits after the update lands, providing clarity on a bright trading outlook around some of these murky boards.
