An interesting start to the day with good volume in the first hour. Will Tosca be able to get back to 29%? Has their determination to do so set bells ringing? Is the 'corner' about to produce fireworks?
Sit back and watch the opera. I have a feeling the orchestra has finished tuning up. Remember the fat lady......

Lucky fca!

So are you saying you saw evidence of groups of orders being removed from L2 as the price approached them?

STT - how about doing some proper analysis for once before you make these bizarre suggestions.

Advfn shows 220 odd trades today in regular hours. Split these into "small" (say under 500 shares), "medium" (say 500 - 2500 shares) and "large" (over 2500 shares), or whatever buckets you want to choose. How many trades do you have in each bucket and can you see any evidence of actual repeating patterns in the trading? If you're feeling ambitious try to group "AT" trades placed within a few seconds of each other in order to try to identify bigger trades broken up into smaller chunks. After doing this, are there any credible inferences you can draw from those patterns?

How closely were you watching the L2 order book today? Did you see any evidence of orders being removed as the price moved in their direction?

Or is this just what seems like the usual wild attempt to suggest a link between an article and something happening on R1 simply by posting the article on an R1 board?

hammers, read the articles from FCA...
the small trades to push price UP OR DOWN...

I've noticed it on here several times and on gkp and others..

The poster Mount Teide posted that he noticed it several times on gbo... whether he's noticed it on others, only he will know...

the FCA article does mention the gang targeted 186 UK companies so maybe the gang target 100s of different shares, so not to make it obvious and avoid detection..

luafc - I would ask yourself why you feel the need to write as if you were downing your tenth frosty jack? That post was nothing short of mental!

You don't like the stock - yes I get that, you and striker played it wrong and it cost you dough.....but life is too short my friend, move on.

I don't make many mistakes - but when I do, I blame nobody else......I learn, I never get bitter, and best of all....I can laugh at myself.

Shame on the gangsters for duping me once - shame on me if they dupe me twice! Stop blaming others my friend.

Thing is STT you have made the 'small trades to push the price higher'claim on numerous occasions and there has been diddly squat movement in the price....can you tell me why not? and...excuse my naivety... but if it's that simple why isn't it done every day? Just asking

typically around 100 shares... look at the trades...

"The small share orders (typically around 100 shares) were used to improve the best bid or offer price. As the price improved, further large orders were strategically placed at prices close to the new best bid or offer in order to support the improved price. In this way the defendants systematically sought to manipulate the share price up and down."

Getting Ahead of the Game: Why & How Publishers Should Use Header Bidding

by Lindsay Rowntree on
6th Mar 2017

The top priority for publishers today is maximising revenue from their ad inventory. Techniques such as header bidding are making this possible; and while the concept itself isn’t brand new, adoption is on the rise as more publishers begin to realise its monetary potential and value, writes Nilesh Dhawale, senior product manager, RhythmOne.

Take The Telegraph as an example. The publisher has recently announced plans to quadruple their programmatic staff count, thanks to the success of header bidding, success which equals a programmatic revenue increase of 20%.

Header bidding offers seamless integration between publishers and demand partners, which can provide greater yield. Slader, for example, has seen a 20-50% in CPMs since using header bidding, while StudyBreak Media generates at least a quarter of their revenue from header bidding.

1.019m buys v 1.359m sells..

I see there were lots of small trades pitched to push the share price higher, followed by larger sells...

Layering shares which works both ways...

scaffolders have been busy...

in 2015, a poster on GBO also commented about Layering on GBO as well...scaffolder's nap ...

Extrader - 'Has anyone (bull or bear, since 'layering works both ways) ever claimed this in the case of GBO ?'

Yes, i have observed its systematic use on numerous previous occasions during the last 24 months on the Globo ordrbook(mentioned it on this thread) and have the L2 screenshots to prove it!. Some of which are now with the FCA.

It was being carried out without exception to create the impression of high selling pressure.

For weeks on end, almost without exception once the price got anywhere near any of these large layered positions they either mysteriously vanished from the screen or were moved strategically to continue the deception.
