LCWA 1R say they haven't got a clue what is happening with the share price or who's buying the shares and why and haven't notice anyone taking a lager stake in 1R

With tosca owning as many as they do they can sell into the market to depress the price then pick up and buy other sells. Find it odd there are enough available to pick up 10's of millions though. Perk sellers or not.

So Tosca trying to buy another 4% of the company to get back up to just under 30% and in the real world the share price would be flying trying to fill that order but in the world of scaffolder's and 1R the share price falls, who here is a tried making a big purchase of any stock and you get quoted ridiculous prices so what's the deal between Tosca and the market-makers do they just get a flat commission regardless of what ever the share price is or do they get big payday when it goes private.

As loaf said, 53% of Perk holding from the acquisition are locked in... isn't it 3 months from acquisition date???? Apr??

Leaving approx 35M that may or may not be sold.

Which is exactly the number Tosca need if they want to go back to 30%.

the point about San is that Tosca's holding didn't stop the share price from falling...

It's a interesting thought about Tosca, Intq & Imi.. they have nearly 24% of Imimobile...
yes, it's entirely possible that Tosca are encouraging the managements to talk to each other...

With Intq, the bid was joint from Tosca and Intq ceo and founder...

I think the same could happen with 1R...a bid from BoD backed by Tosca..

San Leon is perhaps an interesting analogy because Toscafund built a position in both San Leon and Aurelian Oil & Gas, which subsequently (in 2013) merged. So one might guess that Toscafund was somehow involved behind the scenes in promoting the merger.

Now we have Toscafund building its position back up in R1 post the dilution caused by the Perk deal and also with positions in InternetQ (now private) and Imimobile (as brought to my attention by shroder).

So might it be reasonable to think that if there is merit in combining R1 with either InternetQ or Imimobile, then Toscafund would be encouraging appropriate conversations between the managements?

I would hope for initial bids of around 50% above the share price .... but the recent holding increase doesn't mean it's imminent...

When you say collapsed, STT. Can you give some figures? You have mentioned the recent talk of bid speculation of capital returns to shareholders either.

Tosca could be raising it's holding back towards the 30%... It doesn't mean a bid is imminent...

Tosca built up a stake in San Leon over years, whilst the share price was collapsing...They now have over 50%...




3 years ago their holding was over 20%... yet the share price has collapsed since...

Rhythmcontent/supportfreecontent (SFC) and it's use in sidereel/allmusic is not new...
The Rhythmcontent site has been in beta for months...

Likewise the SupportFreeContent browser extension..
It was added to Allmusic and sidereel months ago and I've posted alexa rankings showing that, initially. they were rising sharply but have peaked since Nov/Dec...




If you look at Sidereel rankings, they have collapsed over the past few months...about the same time as SFC peaked...



with Allmusic, the rankings fell from around the same point Nov/Dec but seem to show signs of an upturn..

The other thing new was supportfreecontent.com...

If you goto with ad blocker enabled...



you'll see an option for 'continue with supportfreecontent'...
Basically for those using adblocker they have the option to use this instead...google search extension...

why would 1R want to go down this route...

It looks to me as if Tosca are simply moving back to their previous position of 29%.

Like you BARKERS I do not believe the large lumps being traded have come from Perk. 'Moody' stock perhaps or stock lent by a kindly uncle?
