01/8/2018 18:56 | Borg, the results refer to A commercial litigation... The DataXu court settlement was 28th March, 3 days before fy end...31st March... If you are correct then there would be further court settlement(s) in the future...especially DataXu... | sikhthetech
01/8/2018 18:45 | "General commercial litigation involves virtually every type of dispute that can arise in the business context, including breach of contract cases, partnership/joint venture disputes, class actions, business torts, civil RICO claims, breach of fiduciary duty allegations, and shareholder issues." So the settlement could be from a Yume shareholder class action lawsuit and/or fiduciary duties or other shareholder issues. All possible under commercial litigation. | borgioli
01/8/2018 18:43 | You are correct Sihky. | jonc

01/8/2018 17:53 | Litigation settlement... $976K... "The exceptional costs primarily relate to restructuring changes, onerous lease provisions, severance charges and a payment related to a commercial litigation settlement." | sikhthetech
01/8/2018 17:10 | keep the dream going loaf, keep the story alive while you can. the family love that fantasy world, where old blnxy/r1 will resurrect itself from the mosh pit and do another 10 bagger. its not going to happen.. its on its final journey down.. a long painful drip, drip, splosh! | rocket fuel
01/8/2018 16:50 | apart from DataXu, potential loss of further partners, more partners questioning 1R's fees.... and if Rubicon is anything to go by, If 1R also make their fees transparent, the eventual loss could be tens of millions... The court case only concluded in March, it's too early to know the consequences... | sikhthetech
01/8/2018 16:48 | Ragos - the case was settled..dismissed with prejudice. both sides payed there own costs...no case on that Dataxu/RTHM dispute can be served again...Dataxu told to shut it! Basically both sides lost out with costs, RTHM would have got some of the money owed/disputed - lawyers the winners. JonC - knows different! | barkboo
01/8/2018 16:27 | Ragos, that's probably just the legal costs. The real question is if Dataxu paid their their bill to R1, otherwise the actual cost/loss to R1 could be millions of dollars. | borgioli
01/8/2018 16:22 | no matter what the sum was, it seems like they are at it again, with their underhanded business practices!.. not such a squeaky clean company these days, after all! | rocket fuel
01/8/2018 16:07 | really footy? and what use is 8 rank when it has absolutely no correlation with the real time rthm share price? they are running as fast as they can, just to stand still footy. the losses will widen and the share price will go down. rthm will eventually disappear from the market altogether, with no compensation for the beloved family of shareholders! | rocket fuel
01/8/2018 16:05 | Just FYI Asked at the AGM re litigation.... Cost was £100K. R | ragos
01/8/2018 15:45 | 8 US RANK For the boy next door so he doesn't have to wait a few days hoping it goes down further | football
01/8/2018 15:44 | Just got back in - no link from JonC? lol "JonC1 Aug '18 - 12:26 - 24 of 26 0.100000 2 0 DataXu won and it cost R1 a million bucks." | barkboo
01/8/2018 14:25 | Sizmek Revamps The Rocket Fuel DSP – But Does The World Need Another Buying Platform? | sikhthetech
01/8/2018 13:35 | The case was settled - "DataXu won and it cost R1 a million bucks." nobody won the case! where did you find that information. | barkboo
01/8/2018 12:45 | digi, I guess you must be struggling to pay back on that second mortgage you took out on the house.. no wonder you would say anything it takes to ramp up this sick dying pup, hoping it will come back to life and get you out of trouble. this parrot is dead, it has expired and soon to be pushing up the daisies! | rocket fuel
01/8/2018 12:27 | Barky, you miss the point... it's not about whether DataXu could bring about another case... The court case highlighted 1R charging of 'hidden' fees... It's about the CONSEQUENCES of the case... and what if 1R abandons those fees??? What about other partners questioning those fees... Rubicon/Guardian court case over fees... which led to Rubicon losing a huge chunk of their revenue.. How much would they lose if they also went down the route of being transparent over fees, like Rubicon after their court case.. Rubicon lost a huge chunk of revenue whilst making their fees more transparent... "In November 2017, Rubicon Project announced that it is to drop its buy-side fees as part of its ongoing transparency drive with the impact of this move demonstrated in its previous quarterly results when revenue dropped 57%. | sikhthetech |
