26/3/2024 09:12 | This sector is in real trouble and I don't think there is any real way out at the moment. A 1p placing will be a result although this could ultimately go bust. | manual dexterity
26/3/2024 09:01 | A placing at 1p?. Judging by the markets that would be a result. | manual dexterity
26/3/2024 08:18 | Mary you talk utter nonsense. I have a 25% stop loss on my shares, sleep well at night, who wants to hold a share thinking it will go up eventually only to find out all your money has been lost on hope. Keep emotions out of trading, know your entry and more importantly your exit levels. As I said before, poor management, wrong sector, these stocks are susceptible to trap door moments on their way to 0p There are far too many still trading that shouldn’t be in business anymore but there are always mugs dreaming, these have fallen a lot, they must be a buy. Only for gamblers & spivs.Charts dont lie, just a series of dead cat bounces, trapping in mug punters on the way to administration | ny boy

21/2/2024 11:33 | From 2017: Takeover battle raging Revolution is currently in the middle of a takeover battle between Stonegate Pub Company Limited, which is offering 203p per share in cash for the firm, and the Deltic Group Limited, which is proposing an all-share merger. Today Deltic revealed its latest offer for Revolution. The proposal provides for a combination under which existing Revolution shareholders would own 65% of the group, and Deltic owners would hold 35% of the enlarged group. According to the buyer, the combined group should benefit from approximately £6.8m of currently identified pre-tax cost synergies and approximately £0.9m of pre-tax financing synergies. What’s more, the group is “expected to be highly cash generative and financed conservatively, ” and there is to be “no change to Revolution’s existing dividend policy.“ | the imperialist

16/2/2024 11:06 | From LSE: "I wouldn’t be surprised to see a takeover offer. Stonegate offered just over £100 million which Revolution rejected. This was in 2017, before the pandemic, but still shows how undervalued this currently is at £6.5 million MCap. I think for the right offer Revolution would consider selling the Bars to focus on the Peach Pubs / food side of the business themselves. Slightest whiff of an interest and the share price flys imo." | the imperialist
16/2/2024 11:04 | Found it! Alliance News) - City Pub Group PLC on Thursday agreed to a cash and shares takeover offer from Young & Co's Brewery PLC worth around GBP162 million, while Young's also said half-year profit rose. These guys wouldn't be interested in RBG would they? | the imperialist

25/1/2024 16:25 | Oh come now, I think "Master" is quite appropriate - he's demonstrating how to successfully promote an 'unloved' share to the rest of us proles. It's just coincidence that it requires a few gullible / greedy disciples to carry the bags along the journey. But I'm still wondering how he developed the repetitive strain injury. | glavey |
