is much smaller on the real prices 4.445 v 4.575
No much trading going on today, but earlier any large sells are being taking in at full offer
we still waiting for another TR1

It would be helpful if the directors had quantified the losses made b6 the bars closing last financial year. From a timing perspective the decision to offload / close these sites look sensible. They were likely profitable over 5h3 festive period

Acquired 21 Peach pubs on 18 October 2022

That means 90 Pubs the total on that date but most likely the total now is 88

note; Not too sure if already closed any after that,
but I think 2 where close not long ago

1 - Today's news is an update, not the Results
2 - The reason for the share price to rise was due to someone taking a very large stake Eldose Babu
3 - Today's fall is not a new low
4 - Shares are for making profits not to be put under the mattress, but I am still holding and very good on those who took profits.
5, As usual, there are nasty people around as shown in the last few posts, mainly ( bspgamer )
6- I consider the drop overdone, mainly as the debt is down once again, and the revenue is only 2.8% lower, also it was expected the update to be like this as is the last 6 months and the economy was as good as is now
7 - We can put negative arguments on how to survive any business, but that is how they are trying to get rid of unprofitable pubs.
8 - I am told to be the best on timing, and as it happens it was one while lasted, but sometimes nothing lasts forever like on today's update.

Trading and Estate Update

Revolution Bars Group plc, a leading operator of premium bars and beautiful gastro pubs, trading mainly under the Revolution, Revolución de Cuba and Peach Pubs brands, today announces that it has traded positively over the important festive season and provides an estate update.

Group like-for-like sales for the four weeks from 4 to 31 December were +9.0%, the best festive period since 2019. Revolución de Cuba and Peach Pubs performed well, and whilst the Revolution brand traded positively on a like for like basis over the festive period, its guests continue to be disproportionately impacted by the current macro-economic conditions. Group like-for-like sales for H1, including New Year's Eve, continued to demonstrate an improving trend, but remained negative at -2.8%. As usual, the Group expects to announce its H1 pre-close trading update on 24 January.

Ths is news that was expected, it’s not a credible recovery play at all, in a sector where people are spending much less on alcoholic anyway, a trend shift.

They will need to reinvent themselves or just go bust.

It’s not as if people haven’t been warning about their prospects.
