09/12/2021 15:29 | The Plan B restrictions won't have any direct impact on Revolution I don't think, few will be 500 plus venues, maybe Manchester? Its more the mood music from the Plan B that could be negative. That said, maybe the increased rigmarole getting into a nightclub may mean more prefer Revolution for a night out? Bought a few more this afternoon anyway. | dropside
09/12/2021 09:49 | Another opportunity looms for a top up. | useless23
09/12/2021 09:29 | I get the impression that there is such anger over these new restrictions that few will take any notice. Certainly not the RBG customers who might make an even greater effort to get out and enjoy themselves and show the govt what they think. I'd be tempted to join them and I'm 64! | spot1034
08/12/2021 22:35 | Depends on capacity at their bars - could have a positive effect if the big clubs won’t allow access, could all hit Rev Bars D | dennisbergkamp
08/12/2021 20:49 | As the government announces new "vaccine passport" requirements for night clubs, the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) has warned of a "devastating impact" on the sector. | abarclay
08/12/2021 19:14 | There was nothing much said about hospitality so we probably go on as before - slightly nervous of what might yet happen, but relieved that it hasn't happened yet. | spot1034
08/12/2021 18:57 | Hmm how much is it going to drop tomorrow at the open. Rules coming in sooner than I expected. | boonkoh
07/12/2021 17:53 | agree, can't see govt locking down, people still want to go out and party me thinks....so maybe an overreaction by the market? Was 26p and rising before Omicron hit, so maybe we should see c.25% uplift to there? DYOR | qs99
07/12/2021 16:42 | RBG got marked down because the market believed there would be a lockdown before Christmas. Clearly that ain't happening so this represents great value | useless23
07/12/2021 16:38 | I have heard that whilst organised events like office parties are being cancelled, people are still coming in off the street in good numbers so the effect of recent govt and media scaremongering (not to mention our friend Ken) on businesses like RBG might not be as great as some might suppose. | spot1034
07/12/2021 16:29 | Interesting end of day indeed | qs99
07/12/2021 16:14 | Tipped? Stream of buys coming into this perennial disappointer Stream of buys in VLX Volume coming into JSG They are trying to catch a bounce all over the place All imo DYOR | sphere25
07/12/2021 15:38 | Be another placing at 5p.office parties getting in the nads | onjohn
07/12/2021 15:22 | Revolution Bars, which sells more than a million pornstar martinis annually across 67 venues, has decided to switch the passion fruit for an edible rice paper, in an effort to cut its carbon footprint. It had calculated that it was using half a million passion fruit a year, weighing 36 tonnes and costing £130,000. Air freighting them caused more than 100 tonnes of emissions. Revolution has made an overall commitment to cutting emissions to net zero by 2030. Changing the passion fruit garnish was low-hanging fruit, the much tougher challenge ahead will be the energy it uses at its venues. The savings on passion fruit will mainly be spent on installing efficient lighting, insulation and other energy saving measures. No position here yet but on my watchlist since this has the potential to treble in value once we get past the COVID restrictions in due course. | masurenguy
07/12/2021 15:01 | There are certainly hints omicron causes less severe symptoms, but if vaccines are less effective, as is also suggested it may still produce significant illness in vaccinated people. Add in that it appears to be a lot more transmissible and that could still add up to a lot more people in hospital, and if that's the case even this govt will need to act. | greyingsurfer
07/12/2021 14:50 | I nearly pulled a stop loss on these (20%). It looks like they are on a firm support level, so I'll wait. Omnicron is a weaker virus. All the facts so far point to that. Science will cofirm that viruses lose potency as they mutate. I'm taking a bet that this time is no different. Coronavirus could be on the way to being no worse than a common cold. | napoleon 14th
06/12/2021 11:00 | Just checked Ken and you must of commented on lemmings and mushrooms at least 4 times. Just give it a rest mate, everybody can work out there own view of a company or not. If I was shorting them, I would close up now and walk away, forget this share and find another. Why do people like you get fixated on one share and constantly pump it up or in your case knock it down. | johnv
06/12/2021 10:53 | Looks like omicron is not as bad as the previous strain. | johnv
06/12/2021 07:42 | Omicron spreading fast.Avoid pubs and bars.Lemmings and mushrooms only. | ken chung
29/11/2021 16:49 | But is the government going to make those astronomical payments to the hospitality sector that they did last time? At some stage we have to get on and live with the problem - despite what many may think there really isn't a printing press that simply churns out money whenever Boris asks. | laughton
29/11/2021 15:59 | Far too risky for there not to be restrictions in pub hospitality sector imo. | pillow
28/11/2021 19:55 | We should see a decent bounce tomorrow | useless23 |
