I wouldn't be surprised if SCSW tips them this month.

Nothing goes up in a straight line. Just pausing for breath but the trend is upwards.

Also corporate Xmas parties are being planned much later than normal. My company for example booked ours only 2 weeks ago. We are working in the new normal i.e. home / office split. We have 180 employees based in London and 145 are going to the party. Talking to friends their companies have been doing something similar with last minute arrangements and good take up. I am based in London so perhaps not a direct look through as RBG only have the one establishment in Leadenhall, but I suspect there will be similar corporate thinking around the country given nothing could take place last year.

there is no chance of another lockdown - the UK simply cannot afford one, maybe masks and not allowing unvaccinated visitors but that shouldn't do much impact.

We've had Wetherspoons and Barclaycard data confirming an amazing demand for bars and clubs atm. And Paul Scott as usually beating the drum here on this share.Only person who can put a damper on this would be Boris and winter COVID restrictions. But no sign of that. Although the twin news of rapidly waning vaccine efficacy at 6 months and the slow booster jab rollout is something to keep an eye on.

Agreed. So long as there is a free run to xmas then these will re-rate significantly. You will see this reflected in the share price well before the Jan trading update.

I think these are like a coil spring - RBG as it is is generating a lot of free cash
- it generated £8.7m in just 3 months and is now approaching the peak period. Being held down so far by fear?

Given no lockdowns then I see these testing the 40p level by q1

this was posted by Beachbum1978 on the lse board in relation to another company (CARD) but relevant to RBG and others.

'Minor point, but I work in Hotels, and for the last 4 months especially, and for at least the next year ahead, they are on Covid cancellations catch up with weddings especially, but now Xmas parties, birthday celebrations etc etc.
They are absolutely rammed to the brim with bookings, running 2 weddings a day, at weekends, and also lots more mid week weddings you wouldn’t normally get.

Only reason I mention it is the shear amount of cards and dressings I’ve seen, means they have doubled.'

17% like for like sales growth since July across the group compared to pre COVID trading and 21% growth for England, according to the October Update. That is excellent by any metric. Added again yesterday. Follow Mark Ward and buy RBG imo.

This is a gift at those levels and I added this morning. What is holding us a bit is fear of covid but I'm pretty sure that the UK government has no intention of locking people again.
