Agreed, like the way they are using pre-covid as a comparator and some big increases from there IMO....DYOR

I like this part

"In the period from 19 July 2021 to 2 October 2021 our sites have experienced strong demand delivering same site sales growth of 17% when compared to the same period 2 years ago, when the business traded normally pre Covid. Our 56 English sites, which had no restrictions over this period, traded at 21% higher when compared to 2 years ago. In line with the previously communicated plans we have re-commenced our refurbishment programme.

This strong trading performance was well ahead of the Company's expectations for this period, and costs have continued to be well controlled resulting in good profit generation from these sales. "

Interesting article in sundays Daily Fail. RBG should be trading similarly. Bodes well for our next update.

"Now that going out is back on the menu, the latest figures from M&B suggest that punters are making up for lost time. Over the past eight weeks, sales were at 104 per cent of their pre-pandemic levels for the same time of year, although Urban says the recovery is 'volatile', with food-led pubs recovering more strongly, particularly at the premium end of the market. 90% had 1st dose, hospitalisations down 13% week on week to c.5,000 with c.2,000 hospitals in the UK.

So no, Ken, pubs and clubs are full as far as my kids and mates tell me, maybe you need to get out more?

Just waiting for RBG to tell us so - perhaps an update in early October to provide preliminary results for 2021, plus an update on Q1 trading.
