17/3/2011 14:33 | That said, I find it encouraging still, so have bought a few.... The stock looks pretty robust to me. I can see Gartmore pushing for a sale of the co. Alternatively, they could perhaps buy another co. like SLN? | the_doctor
17/3/2011 14:06 | Gartmore now holding 25% of the company...hmmmm! | hartleyhare6
17/3/2011 09:19 | Surely now the seller has gone we can push on towards 20p. GLA | hartleyhare6
17/3/2011 08:01 | looks like Blackwell Partners, LLC sold there entire 10 million holding. | daytraders
15/3/2011 16:38 | Looks like today was an opportunity to pick up loads of good companies at bargain prices. I suspect that within a week the nuclear issue will have been resolved and there will be a big recovery in the market. As for Renova it didnt fall much so I doubt it will rise either. I still have a slight doubt that the net assets are above market Cap. The 44m of cash maybe before some significant trade payables or other short term liabilities. That could explain the existing share price | amt
15/3/2011 16:19 | I agree - it's a good time to have cash in the bank. | sbs
15/3/2011 15:05 | Sensible stock?? There aint no such thing! | volsung
14/3/2011 21:33 | FWIW I believe those two massive sells today have been lingering for a while to be filled and we should now start to move upwards again towards the 20p mark. All imho and I literally am staying to minimise my losses rather than simply curring and running. | smith99
14/3/2011 18:54 | well the 2 large sale trades were at 14p and 14.04p, thats why we dropped. | daytraders
14/3/2011 17:01 | I don't think my buy at 15p counts as a large trade ;-) | sbs
14/3/2011 16:57 | Two large trades representing over 10% of the company have gone through this afternoon. If Gartmore bought the stock, they will now have close to 30%. | bill182
13/3/2011 21:01 | Is gartmore just buying to Rebalance its portfolio? | hemehem
12/3/2011 06:55 | It is relevant. You're saying we've survived the last 2 days sell off. I'm saying people are taking profits where they have them and cutting risk. Given we are just off all time lows, there's not same selling pressure as elsewhere. Aren't you worried that after the sell off from 80p we haven't bounced despite all Gartmore's buying interest? | 2bozmo
11/3/2011 22:25 | Its been risk reduction and everyone sold out this dog long ago. | 2bozmo
11/3/2011 17:01 | Someone seems quite happy to keep on soaking up the shares at 15p, judging by the trades yesterday and today. If it was Gartmore, they will probably be updating there holding shortly, and could be near the 20% mark. They clearly see value at these prices, which gives me a small degree of comfort! | bill182
10/3/2011 20:20 | I think it HUGELY significant that U contradict yourself .
Not one to to buy at present in my oppinion but worth watching and waiting. | polygram
10/3/2011 13:08 | As is often the case in these situations, many of the employees who do not have a lot of service will leave before the 3 month consultation expires, as the outcome is pretty obvious. Therefore, some of the redundancy payments being postulated could be very wide of the mark. The fact that Gartmore are building a substantial stake, gives me the confidence to believe 15.00p is the floor. For upwards of a 30% gain, for a 3 month holding, IMHO is not a bad investment, and I have bought at this price. I fully expect things to be pretty much wrapped up by the end of the consultation period, and whilst there may be some announcement before then, I am not expecting one. | bill182 |
