ha yes i was in CITY too. although was only a small holding so only made a few k.again all speculation but are there any timelines etc

I trust my sources. As posted in Aug-17 and Dec-17, Cityfibre (Ticker: CITY LN) was about to be acquired which eventually happened in April-18 at an 92% premium and we all made a lot of money. Some almost doubled their investment.

Regarding RWI debt, a Net debt / EBITDA of 3-5x is totally normal for this type of business. No issues with that.

M&A chatter going on. Do not worry about current share price - should be looking at takeover price tag> 90p. Consortium PEs interested (watch out for 3i Group, Macquarie, Brookfield Business Partners)

I think this downturn is probably from a large sell order - I expect a TR1 soon if the case.

Still, nothing has changed - can see at least 25 - 30% in share price growth from these lvls by the end of the year.

65p is time to add for me , though do have a worry that the continuing weakness might indicate some inside knowledge of impending trouble.

what i find interesting is that small sell trades seem to affect the share price substantially more than you would expect. Large buy trades seem to have almost zero effect.

I thought the trading statement on the 12th July was reasonably positive so the steep decline since the 6th Aug is disappointing to say the least. VOlumes seem to have fallen a bit so that's a slight positive. Is it possible someone is manipulating the price down before a bid ?

constant drip down - can't see any short interest here and RWI is not affected by the Turk issue - could just be sentiment? No change to the expected results so I suppose we either sell out or hold tight! Leaving the ftse 250 should not have such a marked effect on the share price imo

Thanks George, that wouldn't surprise me. Has been a target on a number of occasions before with Carlyle being a PE name I remember being interested. Not sure of your source though so we'll wait and see..
