Renewi Surges; Peel Hunt Says Covid Impact Less Than Expected

(Bloomberg) -- Renewi shares rise as much as 23%, the most since May 29, after the waste management firm said trading has been materially ahead of its expectations.

very positive. and net debt has fallen aggressively by another £50mn at <2.9x even including any loss of income because of covid.

Hi Theolonghair, dividends are not rising - actually there are no dividends. They are suspended until further notice. No idea when and if they will be reinstated. Yes earnings should rise aggressively in cy21 because of ATM (old) + ATM (new) ramping up production, having started from a very low base in 2020. I am a long-term holder unfortunately, but it is what it is.

The only viable exit option for shareholders is a buyout but until then there is room for some nibbling for short term gains

Dividends are slowly rising.
Although it's 'estimates'
towards 2023 Nov. I see growth.
Also towards 2023 we can expect
a positive earnings growth of
103% from 2021. Even though I
dont have millions of shares.
I commit for the long haul.

No day trading at all.

Encouragement can be taken from the Momentum & Volume chart, which is showing a large tailing off in selling pressure.

Chart is still negative unless it can break the downward channel. 18p has to hold.
That said, if there's even a move back through 22p, it's a "double bottom" and a strong buy signal with an immediate 27p target.
But it needs 22p to break the downwards pattern.

Tomorrow the RNS probably. And a rally afterwards imo.

Even if it rallies again 20-40%, it will probably lose it all until the next update as usual. So don't forget to take profits in these rallies.

Now we have to see if we can get an RNS and give you the 20% you richly deserve as a faithful supporter of Renewi - in three years time I hope you will look back at today’s acquisition and perhaps regret that you hadn’t had even more conviction of the future - so missing in today’s market looking for a quick buck .
