11/3/2021 15:58 | Peel Hunt raises target price to 64p from 49p (as reported on the Dutch thread) | gregsc
11/3/2021 15:19 | Great update. Slightly frustrating that I haven't been able to top up today. Tried 4 times to get a quote and nothing on HL, sell only. Probably just HL being useless | 8robson
11/3/2021 15:03 | Alliance News summary: Renewi PLC - waste-to-product business - Continues to perform well in the fourth quarter of its current financial year that end on March 31, with a strong performance in its core Commercial division. Renewi also notes it continues to benefit from stronger than expected recyclate prices and resilience in bulky waste and construction & demolition waste volumes to offset lower roller bin volumes. The company says it expects underlying earnings before interest and tax for the full year to be significantly ahead of our previous expectations, at around EUR68 million. For its financial 2020, Renewi posted underlying Ebit of EUR72 million. Going forward, Renewi says it remains "suitably cautious" at this stage regarding the outlook for the financial 2022, given the uncertainty as to the varied impacts of lockdown restrictions ending, recyclate prices, and a potential late cycle slowdown in the construction sector. | catch007

11/3/2021 13:16 | My family holdings only significantly increased last November when my "typically student left-wing" daughter announced that she didn't want anything but "green" stocks in her ISA, and my wife and not-so-leftie other daughter said "Dad, that might not be a bad idea". So their entire holdings of "safe and boring dividend earners" like BOI were sold, and replaced with big chunks of RWI and EDEN, although when Eden then hit 18p inside 6 weeksm my wife said "great, swap back for more BOI". I had wanted them to follow me into SAGA, but leftie daughter said "Cruise ships cause too much CO2 pollution". So I'm the only family member holding them. It's now going to be a very interesting experiment to compare how the different portfolios will do going forward. | outsizeclothes.com
11/3/2021 11:29 | My initial buys were circa £1 prior to contamination issues I bought a good chunk at 18p last year that has balanced the equation now. A good hold for e now. | catch007
11/3/2021 11:24 | Well done anyone who had the confidence to buy last yr ; sadly I average about a quid! | wad collector
11/3/2021 10:51 | Yes, there were some dismal days last summer when everything was going up apart from RWI. Glad I held and added although it certainly caused me quite a bit of stress. I won't be selling too early, first slice will be 65p | dplewis1
11/3/2021 10:31 | Painful recovery period however those that follow RWI could see lots of positives emerging and post pandemic progress should continue. Great to see the share price responding now. | catch007
11/3/2021 10:26 | The value is out in the open. And, which is great to see, there are no surprize exceptionals coming down the track. The divvy could resume here quicker, and at a higher level, than many of the analysts had predicted ! e.g. Stockopedia has a predicted divvy of 0 for 2021 and only 1/2p for 2022. | outsizeclothes.com
11/3/2021 10:15 | 22% up today. This share is popping off. | blakey0500
11/3/2021 08:57 | Still reckon this could double, 100p my longer term target 1-2 years . And it's a green play so the wife is pleased. | its the oxman
11/3/2021 07:34 | Like the comment about the growth of recycling being a strong tail-wind (imo) A very stong hold - possibly even a top-up but DYOR. | pugugly
11/3/2021 07:19 | Yes seems like this will break into the 50s this week | george stobbart
11/3/2021 07:17 | Debt down, ebit up.. 50p today | dplewis1
11/3/2021 07:12 | Wow great update | dplewis1
09/3/2021 14:46 | Just got both feet over 45. US market flying so let's hope it can hold this level .. surely the turn of value stocks to have a run. | dplewis1
09/3/2021 12:02 | 45p still resistance point if we can get over the hurdle we hopefully should see a nice run up to finals. | catch007
08/3/2021 17:56 | It would be interesting to see if new Research analysts initiate coverage on RWI with all the ESG hype. Since it dropped out of the FTSE 250, Barclays - Numis - Kepler Cheuvreux have all terminated coverage. Now it's only covered by Peel Hunt and Investec (I leave Edison aside because it's paid research and not independent). Now with the Dutch listing in place and the market cap back up at c £350mn, it's not unreasonable to expect a few continental European banks to start looking at the stock | george stobbart
08/3/2021 17:30 | hmmm! Up 1.1% in London, but up 6% in Amsterdam. | gregsc
08/3/2021 09:20 | This is ripe for revaluation/ takeover imho. | robsy2
05/3/2021 10:58 | Read-across from results over the UK waste sector have been fairly positive ( Biffa, Augean )so although the EU are 3 months behind the UK in "resuming normal activity", esp in construction, I'm reasonably comfortable here. I believe that the next results will show a continuation of the progress shown in the last set. | outsizeclothes.com
03/3/2021 13:54 | I note the positive second half update from Biffa today: Though obviously a different entity to RWI this augers well for the waste industry in general and is consistent with the Renewi third quarter trading statement. Biffa PLC on Wednesday said its performance in the second year-half has continued to be ahead of its base case expectations, with the third lockdown hitting earnings less severely than originally anticipated. | catch007
02/3/2021 12:16 | 45p+ being paid today George - lets hope the share price can break the resistance point now | catch007 |
