Good momentum at the moment. Helps that 3in took 50% of Dutch waste treatment and disposal company Attero and Cory waste management was snapped up recently. Even the Chinese decision adds to the overall positivity as it basically underlines that we can no longer export our way out of trouble and we will have to do all the recycling here.

Renewi is in a prime position.

Onwards and upwards.

Just been looking at last weeks director share awards. I understand that it is good for the management to have a vested interest in the share price and it is good that they are are rewarded if a company is performing well , but what I never like to see is them being rewarded with about 2 Million shares (not even options , nil paid) when the share price is near the lowest it has been for the last 7 yrs. It was 125p in 2011.
Ok it has rallied this week , but I don't suppose the binmen will get bonuses for mediocre performance at their work!

I wouldn't take profits yet Wad,(actually I'm only breaking even)at the present time since:- Firstly - Renewi: Kepler Cheuvreux initiates hold (or buy?) with a target price of 99p as at 6 June, and
Secondly - Ex Div on 27 June.

Hope all the slide-rules are clicking into action - as you do!

Can you really remember how to use a slide-rule? I think I last used mine in 1977 before we were allowed Casios in exams.
The whole market seems rather buoyant at the moment - not sure the rises will be sustained. One more foot in mouth from Trump and could easily see a correction. Might be a good time to take profits but who knows?

think this uplift has a lot to do with EU recycling / plastic legislation that has brought the RPC price down.

Well I've held these for years and just goes to show you should have courage in your convictions sometimes. That drop last month to the 60's was completely pointless, just wish I'd bought more now.. This seems to be flavour of the month all of a sudden!

The final dividend of 2.1 pence per share will be paid on 27 July 2018 to shareholders on the register at close of business on 29 June 2018.

If you can buy at 70p and sell at £1 and keep repeating the process then you're home and dry!

To be honest, this goes up to a quid then back down to 70p so often it's not even worth commenting on anymore.. hard to get excited as a long term holder really. I will wake up at 150p..
