Hi all
Seasons greetings to you all.
I can see on reflec website someone now has 50 shares for sale at £205.....many been snapped up at £275, so why drive down share price asking price!!!

I wouldn't think somebody will snap them up.

Happy new yr all

Notes: Delisted from Aim 7th August 2009
Consolidation: 1000 for 1 consolidation 30th August 2010

And that was after the 50 for 1 in April 2007.

You can check this thread all the way back to 2009 and see the time they de-listed.

11,000 shares from 1999 are completely worthless. Needed hundreds of thousands if not millions to have even a share or two now. Early in the year 2000 they were 42 pence a share, after that they went very low. Some bought at 1 penny in 1999 and made a killing if they sold after a few months.

I had well over £1,350 worth of shares in 2004(bought in 2003) and bought a few more after that, but after the consolidations(final one was in 2010) I now have 2 shares. Therefore 235 shares in 2007 are worthless.

I have done very well with Reflec late 1999 but lost money buying in 2003. Less losses than gains though. Now waiting for £1000 per share to even consider selling the two shares I have.

JGHALE;

There are about 14,600 in issue nowadays, so if you do have 225 you own about 1.5% of the company and you have missed a shed full of money in divis.

There have been 2 share consolidations since 1999 - 1:50 & 1:1000 so I suggest you may be one of those who had less than 1 share after the 2nd consolidation.

Just found that out!! Apparently my original several thousand ended up at less than one!
Still an interesting exercise
Cheers

The problem is the last consolidation of shares was about August 2009 and they were taken private at £50 a share. I did not like to burst your bubble but there were two huge consolidations. Check it out.

Philmac56....thanks!! Clearing out my loft discovered 11,000plus shares from 1999 which I think were diluted to 225 shares (computer share certificate) in 2007.
At @ £280 to £300 seems a lot of money!
Shall register for my divi!
Cheers

JGHALE...

Shares are still trading between £280-£300 but very few, there are lots for sale being offered on the website. They were paying a divi twice a yr around £5-6 per share

...look on their website...you may need to register to get access.

Johndee, thanks for input.i did receive 235 in 2007 from computer share so I reckoned there had been mass dilution!
What I don't understand is that today's share price appears to be 6.5 pence, yet only a year or so ago £300 is quoted!
What's that all about? I gave up on this years ago yet they still keep going! Is there any hope or should I not get ever over excited about it?

You will need a few hundred thousand from 16 years ago to have value. 200,000 shares has become 2 shares and that was from 2002/2003.

can anyone update the charts because then psychologically as well as factually we can keep seeing how reflec is growing. Might encourage some to think about buying all those shares that people want to sell.

They are talking of when the shares were listed and companies like City Equities were pushing them and making at least 25% on each deal. Now some are getting compensation if they bought the penny shares because of boiler room tactics by certain brokers. Hallbrooks are being successful in achieving compensation for individuals, no win, no fee basis. It has nothing to do with how Reflec is now. I guess many individuals lost a fortune on Reflec at the time.

Not had anything Phil , but you would have thought they would have been buying up the shares if that was the case.

Have sent you a email

Question 2
I have today received a letter from a company named Hallbrook Partners (solicitors).
They list a name of companies who over a period of time have been suggesting to individuals to buy shares in reflec.

Suggest a mid selling issue.

Anyone else had a similar letter???

I believe Martin has moved on to pastures new , I think that would fit in well with the groups statement of reducing group overhead costs .
