Question...
Does anyone know if Martin Cope, has retired from Reflec????

His name seems to have disappeared from their website as a point of contact? Now replaced with John Kinder!!!!

Worth holding as the tax free dividend is a much higher earner than you are likely to get anywhere else.

Philmac

May be something to do with Brexit. We leave the EU and then have to negotiate trade deals. Small companies like Reflec will be the ones that suffer as they probably cannot afford to relocate.

There are quite a few shares sub £300 now for sale.

I sold out at £295, if I recall correctly.

Temptation lures me back, to reconsider my position.

But why are so many being placed at these prices!!!

What has happened over the last yr????

I have missed ojut on the last two/three company updates!!!

Engines were better, though slower, when they had tappets and pushrods operating the cam shaft. It all went wrong when we started using shims.

Is it fairly easy to buy more of these still?

Appears to be a better prospect than any AIM shares at present.

Likewise, always nice to receive the cheque, especially when I know it cost them so much to print it out and send it to me. I feel honoured :-)

Anyone will be able to see the increased costs in the annual report as I am sure that they will be hidden in the "admin" costs section.

If there is a massive increase in admin costs without a corresponding increase in turnover one can expect that this is due the 100% increase in the period payment of dividends.

If there is not a massive increase then phil will be proved mistaken in his posts. In other words be patient and all will be revealed.

Johndee;

True, apart from the astronomical costs associated with paying dividends a couple more times a year of course :-)

Reflec are doing very well since going private, obviously the costs of a private company are much lower than that of a PLC.

Significantly less than REF, but that is a pretty irrelevant question as the process for calculating, generating and paying dividends is so straight forward.

You seem to be looking for a reason to have a go, and this cost in the overall running of a business is really so far down into the weeds.

Can I ask you again (as this seems inportant to you) - You suspect admin costs are higher than we might think - go on then, what do you think these sky high costs might be? Based on what? What are the parameters influencing these costs?
