03/8/2017 17:37 | Volume has been over 5m in the past 2 days so that 2m sell looks to have been well and truly gobbled up in my opinion. I still reckon there is an II increasing their holding here. Recent II buys in other shares held have seen downward momentum caused by BOTS whilst they increase their holdings - scares the timid PIs into selling! | cheek212

03/8/2017 12:48 | think this guy has just put molten salt into perspective.... The Crescent Dunes plant includes a $10 million annual budget for facility maintenance, Smith said, “and that includes property taxes in there, as well, which is close to $3 million.” “It’s a high-tech facility,” he said. “It’s got lots of maintenance requirements, and that’s going to be going on for 30 years.” thats $300 million plus the cost of construction !!! Plus the plant has been offline for about 7 months, due to a small problem as the CEO put it.. SolarReserve’s Crescent Dunes solar plant, which went offline last fall for repairs, remained offline as of this week, but all repairs are done, the company’s CEO reports. “We expect to be back online in a few weeks,” CEO Kevin B. Smith said. A hot salt tank issue “took a while to get it fixed, but it’s a pretty low-tech issue,” Smith said. “We’re going to be back up and running. The repairs are actually 100 percent complete, and now we’re back in recommissioning the plant to restart.” | dlg3
03/8/2017 11:58 | The Thai government has identified energy storage as a key technology, through which it plans to provide global leadership. As both renewable energy capacity and demand continues to rise both in Thailand and globally, the country is highly motivated to facilitate the development of the sector. The Bangkok Post reports that the government plans to include the energy storage issue in the latest revision of its national renewable development plan (PDP:2015-36). Thailand flag The energy ministry has, through Deputy Energy Minister Surasak Srisak, stated that it should promote energy storage technology alongside plans to promote renewable energy to help mitigate potential blackouts and other problems affecting the country's energy grid. Gen Surasak said the revision of the PDP was also due to the delay of the development of coal-fired power plants in the southern region and a large number of new renewable power projects coming on-stream. "We definitely want to encourage private companies to invest in the power storage sector to create facilities serving the development of electrical vehicles (EVs), for which the government is lending its full support,” he said. | dlg3
