27/7/2017 08:54 | Reading between the lines...this money the gov is going on about appears to be batteries related to cars more than anything else...if it is to be used for research into other kinds of batteries then why?, as Redt appear to have a solution. | chicken01
26/7/2017 20:35 | dark With regards to customers. However your post did make me smile. Chas | backdoorbill
26/7/2017 20:34 | darkdogs: You're kidding right? 75% of the entire UK is in St Ives this time of year. I dont think you can ever say that about Gigha. | netcurtains
26/7/2017 20:18 | Cornwall, Central? Nearly as remote as Gigha. Halifax is central | darkdogs
26/7/2017 19:19 | You know I cant really make head nor tail of this. The guy has increased staff by 70% so he is really giving it some welly but says manufacture and sales will not really get going until 2008. But if we just got one order that looks bigger than a toy or a demo, we could be going ballistic now. He was going on about some "software engineer" shortage (I guess yet another negative of brexit rubbish ) Come on Scott mate - give it even more welly - pull off the big one for blightie! Keep on that phone 24 hours to you have it in your pocket! | netcurtains
26/7/2017 19:00 | Interesting views expressed by the non invested. For what reason, always lends itself to another debate and I for one, have no inclination of debating in. Clearly we have had a investor who perhaps partook in the recent placing, limiting their exposure. The Cornwall project, is something of game changer for Redt. Not only will it`s more central and more accessible location be key, for demonstration to potential customers and re-sellers, but there is the added benefits from publicity of such a large project located in southern England. The Hybrid battery is perhaps a game a changer here and Scott is clearly looking further ahead, than the rest in this market. Chas | backdoorbill

26/7/2017 14:48 | all this renewable and energy storage hype seems to be passing REDT by. ITM looking a better investment - today at least | davemac3
26/7/2017 14:33 | Betting against RED is easy cash.I reckon 6p target. Signs are there and company is not generating enough money plays cash burn is high. 6p sounds about right. | dogrunner111
26/7/2017 13:53 | 500k delayed share buy gone through. | dogrunner11
26/7/2017 13:40 | You need to have a little faith we have seen these swings before. There is no bad news out from the company and any positive statement re sales will propel the shares higher. It looks as if a institution is off loading stock and this will be reported in a few days if levels are breached.I would rather be in than out and the buying spree this week would confirm others have the same opinion | ch1ck
26/7/2017 13:00 | By 2040 it will probably have gone the same way as Pinnacle! | gerd212
26/7/2017 12:53 | looking like a total dead duck curtains. | netcurtains
26/7/2017 12:29 | Point well made. At this rate it may take until 2040 to 10 bag. | wheeze
26/7/2017 12:13 | A wild guess as to how many of us here will see 2040?.... | mrphiljones
26/7/2017 12:04 | Any wild guesses with regard to share price in 2040 ? | wheeze
26/7/2017 10:52 | Maybe they will. The announcement is a "nudge" in government speak, Sadiq Khan's daily tax on Diesel is more than a nudge.----Another big upside for us would be if electricity took on gas for domestic heating. It could rapidly be more economic to use electricity, safer and reduce CO2 of course. ----How much power can solar panels garner on a dull day like today? | alchemy
26/7/2017 10:50 | I see emh is flavor of the day. Come on Scott. Ffs. | iglenn
26/7/2017 10:10 | Diesel and petrol will be long gone before 2040 | dogrunner11
26/7/2017 10:09 | They will need electricity yes! | alchemy
26/7/2017 08:56 | So will this government ban on petrol and diesel cars by 2040 be good for us? Surely this will strain the national grid which must then seek to stock pile electricity which must mean bigger and better batteries.... | philoosh
25/7/2017 18:45 | UK outlines plan for major grid upgrades, battery storage investments The U.K. government and the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem), the country’s energy regulator, on Monday announced plans to upgrade the U.K.’s energy system and invest $320 million (£246 million) in battery storage over a 4-year span. The plan includes several measures to ease the approval and development of battery storage devices, including addressing cost recovery with some generators and simplifying the planning and grid connection process. Ofgem said it plans to consult in the coming months on a proposed modified generation license for battery storage, which could remove consumption charges that now can result in double charging for storage devices. | dlg3

25/7/2017 18:23 | Yes someone who got these at 8 is selling off. Given we do get the order book from the pipeline it would be good to know the overhang. But we don't .Tussle ahead. | alchemy |
